Chapter 104:
I heard Scott stop his yelling and slowly opened the door after seeing that all the powder was down the drain. I walked into the room to see Scott was no longer in there. I followed the way I had came in to a living room full of worried looking people. "Where's Scott?" I asked. Logan stood up and gestured towards the door where Heather stood frozen.
"He left. He said you hit him, then he stormed out of here." Logan explained. I nodded.
"I did hit him, but in self defense." I explained myself as I walked over to Heather. "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked. She smiled weakly, a tear in her eye.
"We're getting a divorce." She whispered to me. I gasped.
"Wait, why?" I asked. Everyone In the room was quiet as they tried hearing what Heather was saying.
"He said he wanted a divorce and then left. I've been thinking about a divorce for a month or two but never thought it would happen." She told me. She started laughing as tears rolled down her cheeks. I held her to my chest as she laughed cried. A divorce? Why? They weren't as happy as everyone had thought they were I guess. She stopped crying as I looked around at the shocked faces in the room and she pulled away a smile strong smile on her face.
"It's okay. I can be free now. The baby and I can be free." She said happily.
"Free of what?" I asked furrowing my brow.
"Him. He's gone insane. He's not the man I married anymore." She explained to me. I nodded. I guess they grew apart. "Enough about me. It's your wedding day! Lets go get you ready! It's already noon." She told me. I didn't know what else to say. All I knew was, this whole journey would be quite interesting.
We got back to Marilee and Tawny's house. Everyone was rushing around and making sure everything was set at the venue as my dad and Tawny left so they could be there to make sure everything was going smoothly. It was around four when I had finished helping getting Heather into her dress, and Logan knocked on the door to come into Marilee's room. I was still in a robe, waiting to get my dress on a little later. He walked in and smiled at Marilee. "You look stunning." He said smiling at her as I watched from a distance. I was sitting infront of a mirror as I was getting finishing touches done on my makeup by Heather.
"Please don't make me regret getting you two together." I said teasingly. They laughed sitting on Marilee's bed as she finished putting on her makeup.
"Okay and..... You're done!" Heather smiled at me. I looked at myself in the mirror in awe.
"Oh my God, I am good! Okay, so I made your lips outlined in a darker maroon color, and filled them in with a lighter red to give that romantic look, and finished them with a gloss. Then with your eyes, I did a light to black smokey eye and your fake lashes help with that effect as well. I also put on a little more foundation that usual, because you are going to have to wear this for a long time, while it'll want to come off and it washes out your face to give the romantic southern gothic look." Heather smiled at me. She was proud of her work, which she should've been. I was breathtaking.
"You're a miracle worker Heather!" I shrieked standing up hugging her.
