Chapter 70:
The next couple days were pretty usual. We didn't really experience much that was out of the ordinary. My father hasn't tried to contact me and I was okay with that. I acted as if it were a dream even though I knew it wasn't. Today was Heather and Scott's wedding. Yippee. I wasn't in a good mods this morning so Heather's sisters may actually walk down on Logan and Dustin's arms with black eyes if they don't look out. I was in the grooms room, with all the guys since I had gotten death glares from Heather's family. I was going down the line of grooms men starting with Dustin tying his tie. Then I made it to Logan's. "you look awesome guys. Like the male version of Bridesmaids." I joked. I felt really dizzy today, so I hoped I wasn't getting my cold back.
"Us?! Look at you!" Scott said looking at me. My hair was curled, and pinned back into a poof at the front of my hair, my make up was the usual, and my dress was a strapless rocker ballerina dress that I absolutely loved with my white combat boots with pink laces. I smiled shyly as I moved my freshly dyed blonde streak that I left out of the poof out of my eyes as I tied Logan's tie. I then moved to Kendall's.
"you do look beautiful babe." He whispered looking down at me. I smiled and kissed his lips before getting to Scott who seemed to be sweating bullets.
"You okay there kid?" I asked tying his tie. He nodded.
"I'm sorry for everything Bob." Scott mumbled to me. I nodded as I looked up at him and saw the light outline of where his black eye had been. I finished and sighed.
"I should probably go to the girls room now. Make sure Heather is all ready and doesn't need me to punch her to wake her up." I smiled walking away from the boys. I walked down the hall of the church to the brides room. I knocked twice and then opened the door. Heather's family were all gathered as I smiled nicely at them. Some smiled back but many just looked at me blankly. Heather however greeted me as her stylist was putting her veil on. Her dress was strapless, but the bust was diamond covered. The waist was under the bust draping down her petite blonde frame. The belt that came with the dress had a flower making it girlie. She walked over and smiled at me with her hands on my shoulders.
"You look amazing Bobby." She smiled a tear in her eye, which I knew wasn't because of my fashion sense.
"Me? Girl, please. You look beautiful!" I exclaimed.
"Scott also looks pretty good." I whispered giving her a wink. She giggled and smiled at me.
"I'm excited for this moment to finally come and for you to be the one who shares it with me as my maid of honor." She told me as her father walked over as the other family members besides her sister exited the room.
"It's time Heather." He told her as she gasped. I walked over to our bouquets and handed her her own and holding mine in my grasp. Her sisters snootily walked in front of me as we started our formation within the room. We walked out as soon as Scott was walking down the hall in the direction of the place where the ceremony was taking place. Heather's sisters each looked at whom they were to lock arms with and scoffed. They held onto Logan and Dustin's arms in disgust which enraged me. I then waited for Kendall to exit his room and find me. He was so handsome in his all white tux.
"Ready to go my love?" He whispered to me as we reached a closed door. Heather and her father spoke quietly to one another and stood to the side of the door as royally dressed men opened the two French doors letting in one couple at a time. Dustin and the uglier sister were first then the men closed the door. Then when reopening, Logan and the half way decent looking sister walked out as the men closed the doors before Kendall and myself.
"Get ready Heather." I whispered smiling at her beside me as she hid from view. She smiled back, as the doors opened. Kendall and I walked arm in arm down the aisle and made it to the priest where I couldn't help but imagine us in a few months. He kissed my cheek as we walked up to the second to top step of the stairs and separated as Kendall stood by Scott who stood on the top step with the priest. We patiently waited for Heather to finally give the signal for the doors to open. The grand entrance.
