Chapter 89:
Two more weeks had passed. It was now early May, which meant in three days it was my birthday. I was afraid Kendall would go all out for my first birthday with him, but I figured it was what he did best so I pushed that thought aside, because today, I was meeting my long lost half sister. My dad was always hesitant to talk about her and her mother so I figured I'd take matters into my own hands and contact them for myself. We were meeting at a park on this fine sunny Saturday mid morning. Kendall was wearing black jeans, black vans, a white V-neck, and a black button down left open and the sleeves rolled up. We seemed to be matching more and more without even trying which was odd. I had on a black maxi dress with a red little cover with cut out roses on the back, along with my Kevin bracelet and Kendall necklace. My sandals were goddess type sandals with little silver skull buckles going down the back. My hair was down and straight. I was a little nervous, so I was sweating a little more than usual. My father however, was in his usual blue button down tucked into Wrangler jeans, with his brown dirty cowboy boots. He seemed to be quite nervous himself as we sat at a picnic table waiting.
Kendall sat next to me texting Logan what we were doing and that we'd hang out with him later. We were focussed on a boring conversation when a small petite brunette walked up with an older brunette woman. "Hello, William." The older woman said. She was in jean capris, a tank top, and sandals. She wore a little too much make up for her age and she wore the type of purple lip stick that you could see from miles away. However, the girl looked fresh faced, with a subtle cat eye effect on her eyelids. Her hair was longer, maybe to her shoulder blades, and a nice auburn red in the sun. She looked like she could honestly be related to me. I stood up swiftly to greet the girl in a pretty yellow sundress.
"Hi, I'm Roberta." I told her with a smile. She smiled back shaking my hand.
"Nice to finally meet you Roberta. I'm Marilee. This is my mom Tawny." She greeted me sweetly gesturing towards her mother. I then offered my hand to Tawny as she shook it as if it were a vile disgusting object.
"Pleasure." I mumbled a little offended.
"Don't mind her, she's on her period or something." Marilee explained giggling. I had a feeling she and I would get along.
"Hi daddy!" Marilee said to our father waving. Kendall then stood up and wrapped an arm around my waist as Marilee smiled at him.
"Kendall? From Big Time Rush?!" She exclaimed covering her mouth. He smiled down at her then at me.
"Yeah, the one and only." He smiled. She rushed into his arms and hugged him. He chuckled as I laughed. She pulled away quickly.
"Oh my gosh, you're his fiancé from the magazines aren't you?!" She said gasping at me. I nodded ad smiled. She was a total rusher having a fangirl moment.
"I'm going to be kinda related to Kendall Schmidt of Big Time Rush! What the fork?!" She exclaimed. Kendall started laughing hysterically.
"You're amazing already Roberta." She smiled at me close to tears.
"Call me Bobby sweetie." I told her. She nodded as we all sat down and talked for the rest of the afternoon.
