Chapter 95

Chapter 95:  

"Okay.... We're on the sidewalk now..." Kendall told me. We all had left the apartment and Kendall had decided it was time for my present, as if I didn't know it was a car. Kendall was leading me as his hands shielded my eyes to his present. I sighed holding onto his arms with my hands and waited for him to say surprise. "Keep your eyes closed. Keep them closed Kay? Till I say it's okay?" Kendall asked letting go of my head and walking away from him as I heard "oh" and "ah" from Marilee and my dad. I giggled with my eyes stayed closed. "Okay! Open!" Kendall shouted. I opened my eyes, and from then on, if never need to take Kendall to work if I needed to use his car. I wouldn't have to force him to drive me to the store either! And my freedom was parked right next to his silver BMW Hybrid 3.

The sunshine beat down on the black paint with flecks of gold, of my new car. "Oh my God Kendall!" I shrieked running and jumping into his arms. There was a huge red bow tied to the roof of the car that was so cheesy it made me laugh aloud. Kendall laughed as he set me down.

"Do you like it?!" He asked. I stared at the car and nodded.

"What is it??" I asked him astonished that he would get me something almost normal looking.

"It's a Chevy, like your dad told me to get." Kendall said leaning on the hood of the car. I touched the car and was absolutely in love. "It's still an electronic car though. It's a Chevy Volt, seats four people, gets thirty seven MPG on gas and ninety four MPGe. It only uses gas to recharge the batteries." He smiled down at me as I looked up and waited for him to stop speaking.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!" I screamed and hugged him, but I soon pulled away holding out my hand. His eyebrows raised in wonderment. Logan cleared his throat as I looked at him and he tossed the keys. I giggled catching them and running around the other side.

"Who wants to go for a drive?" I asked as I opened the drivers side door. Marilee and Dad got in the back and Kendall in the passenger. Kendall handed the apartment keys to Logan and Dustin so they wouldn't have to stand outside since they already got to play with it all this morning. As soon as Logan was up on the sidewalk with Dustin, I was off. I pulled out fast and felt a rush. My own car, from my fiancé, what else could a girl ask for?!

We drove for almost thirty minutes, as I and Marilee sang obnoxiously to the radio annoying our dad and making Kendall laugh hysterically. It was wonderful. Eventually we pulled back Into the apartment parking lot and got out. I sighed looking at the black beauty in front of me as I stood on the sidewalk. Kendall was the only one who stayed with me on the sidewalk as Marilee went upstairs with Dad to get Logan and Dustin. Wrapping his arms around me, Kendall whispered in my ear. "Happy birthday love." Kendall kissed my ear looking down at me. I looked up at his smiling mouth and kissed it.

"I love you so much." I whispered on his lips making him smile on mine.
