Life is a war,
Me where you can't use weapons,
Where you need to wear a mask,
Where anyone could kill you.

Sometimes you travel in groups,
But most of the time you're forced in it lone,
With the hushed voices as you pass trough the forest,
People mocking you, laughing at you.

A war where you need to stay strong,
Where you need to smile,
Wear a mask,
So no one would know you and what's truly hurting inside.

Where you're afraid to shoot,
Afraid to make the wrong people bleed,
Afraid to make them see what you really fear,
Afraid of fear itself.

Slowly you die inside,
As you trudged slowly into the woods,
The trees laughing,
Pointing at you.

Sometimes you want to remove,
Remove the masks,
Remove the weapons,
Remove everything.

You just want to show your tears,
Bleed and let them see,
How you really are,
What they've done to you.

To show them that every gladiator's armor,
Has a weak spot,
Has a crack,
A part of their broken past.

That every strong person,
Has an Achilles heel,
That they could break,
That they will break.

But being you makes you different,
Being you makes them want to hurt you more,
Being you makes you a fallen,
Being you makes you "chicken".

Sometimes you just want to yell and kill them all,
Sometimes you just want to end the game,
Sometimes you're so pissed that you want to throw the chess board,
Sometimes you want to end it all.

End the pains,
End the throbbing,
End the bleeding,
End the lies.

Hell every time,
They have no clue that they make you cry,
They have no clue that they're piercing you,
They have no clue what you want to do with yourself.

But you know,
From every which way,
That this will only make you stronger,
Make you more than what you are now.

That you should've laughed at everything,
Smiled at everything,
At every useless thing they say,
It's harmless.

But you can't laugh then,
Because everything they say rang true,
All of their spears,
Aiming you at heart.

They won't hear your words,
They won't care how many buckets you bleed into,
Because they're blinded,
Blinded by their false light.

Even as you scream,
As loud as you can,
As mighty as your body allows,
They won't care, never will.

All of the things they said then,
All of the strategies they built,
All of the plans they did to break your walls, hit you harder
Would get them nowhere.

Life is a crappy war game,
When enemy conquers your territory,
You die,
And simply start again.

Because in the end nobody would help you,
You're alone in this game,
Your companions would leave you,
And it's you and yourself till the end.

Someday,
When the war is over,
When all is better,
When the masks are all down.

You would be smiling,
Standing over the buildings,
Grinning at ho foolish they were,
And thanking them for making you learn.

They were stronger than you,
Taller than you,
Meaner than you,
Leaner than you.

But in the end,
You're still the savior,
You're the victor,
You're the winner.

In the end you would forget the past,
Think about the future,
Build you up,
And go be a Titan.

Nothing of the past mattered,
They've helped you grow strong,
And to look at the past is to look at happy memories,
Not how they vandalized you.

The past can be erased,
Besides,
The only step is to move forward,
Forward and forget the worst happenings in life.

You've gotta be the gladiator,
The champion,
The leader,
All at once
