Glass Slipper

Singing softly,
A song that you had sang me,
The words forming every so delicate,
My only memory of you now.

Last time I had gazed into your eyes,
They were clouded with storm,
And hope,
A new beginning,
But little did I know that hope flies,
Little did I foresee that I'll be left alone,
Sewing my pieces back together,
Without the person I loved the most,
A Cinderella who had ran off at midnight,
Leaving me alone to fight under the star glazed skies,
And a memory of one glass slipper,
Oh! How will I find the perfect owner of sorts in a myriad of ladies?!

And now I sing a quiet lullaby,
Softly, delicately,
In hopes that you would come back,
And dance again with me, after midnight.

And now I sing a quiet lullaby,Softly, delicately, In hopes that you would come back, And dance again with me, after midnight
