“You, are getting that,” Josh said. We were at a little boutique in town that they had found yesterday. I felt bad buying things because I know that not even ten minutes away, people couldn’t afford food. But I couldn’t help it, these clothes were great.
“I don’t know,” I said looking down at the dress I was wearing. It was a plum colour with black lace along the top and bottom. It was strapless with a sweetheart neckline and fell almost o my knees. Normally the colour wouldn’t look this good on me, but with the early tan I already had going on, it worked.
“You look hot,” Liam stated calmly from where he ogling me from the hallway in the fitting rooms. If any guy said this to me I would be immediately embarrassed. But this was just Liam, I’d known him forever so I was used to him saying these types of things to me.
I traced a finger along the neckline. It was tight along my chest, but not in a I-can’t-breath type of way, but more of a my-boobs-are-slightly-popping-out type of way. The dress also fit perfectly along my torso, making my flat stomach completely obvious.
“You don’t think I look like a slut?” I asked the guys. I trusted their opinion better than Nora’s. Nora believe you didn’t look like a slut until you felt more comfortable wearing a bikini than whatever the slut-ish thing you were wearing was.
“Nope.”
“No.”
“Not a chance.”
I sighed. I looked at the price tag again for the millionth time. I hoped the numbers had changed but it still said the dress was $130. I was a bargain shopper. I normally managed to spend only sixty on a dress like this.
“If you get that dress, I will let you buy one thing that I don’t like and I wont even complain,” Josh said.
“Buy the freaking dress,” Adam said shoving a twenty in my face. Liam and Josh followed suit. If I used their money, I would only have to spend seventy on it.
“Are you guys sure?” I asked them studying myself in the full wall mirror again.
“Is, if we weren’t friends, I would defiantly date you if you were wearing that dress,” Liam said.
“Are you saying I’m not hot the rest of the time?” I teased.
“Uh no of course not! I’m just saying you went from hot to… wow,” he clarified.
“That dress will defiantly have Kingy all over you in seconds,” Adam said.
“Mikey doesn’t like me,” I said for what felt like the hundredth time that day.
“Mikey? Oh so we have nicknames already do we?” Liam teased. I rolled my eyes and pushed him into the wall. He gripped his shoulder in fake hurt.
“The guy is changing the way he rules a country for you, Is, he likes you,” Adam said stepping back, just in case I decided to hit him too.
“He’s just happy someone told him what the hell was happening in his country,” I explained. Again.
“I don’t like Kingy. He doesn’t even know you and he’s already chasing after you,” Josh said in disgust.
“He is not chasing after me. He just asked me to meet him again today.”
“And he asked you to join him for dinner,” Adam nodded. I glared at him. He held his hands up innocently.
“Fine I’ll get the dress,” I said trying to shut them up.
“Oh and wear it to dinner tonight!” Nora said stepping out of the fitting room next to mine. All of our jaws dropped, but not because she looked out.
