~Michael~

This time when we were going out to town, I had a proper disguise. No weird t-shirts, or suspicious trench coats. No this time I was wearing green contacts to disguise my murky brown ones, and I was wearing a blonde wig over my normally brown hair.

I thought the light coloured wig looked weird with my darker eyebrows, but Is told me it was fine since the hair from the wig was always in my eyes anyways.

Izzy had wanted to go back to town alone, but I wasn’t letting her. She was doing this for my country, so I should be the one to help her. Not her friends. Her friends are here for vacation.

“Your Majesty, your car his here,” Diego said bowing his head slightly for the benefit of my uncle. If Uncle Harold wasn’t present, Diego wouldn’t bother.

“Just a second,” Uncle Harold said to him. He thought that I was going to go check the progress on the new ‘build’ I was supposed to managing. What he didn’t know wouldn’t hurt him.

“You don’t want to be late,” Diego said. I knew he meant that Is was already in the car.

Uncle Harold sighed. “Yes, yes go if you must.”

“Thank you,” I said as I slipped out of the room with Diego on my heels.

“Argh, finally!” Is said exasperated as I slid into the back seat next to her. I could have sat in the front seat, but Is had piled a bunch of papers and things there. And besides, it wasn’t like I hated sitting next to Is.

“Well sorry. But Uncle Harold just had to talk to me,” I defended.

“Yes but we are trying to save all of humanity here,” Is said. Diego snickered from where he was sitting as he drove. I don’t think it was fair for him to have to be playing chauffer, but we couldn’t risk telling someone else, and neither Is nor I had our licenses.

I choked on my spit. “All of humanity. I thought we were just doing the main south side and then working our way through the country if it works.”

Is rolled her eyes at me. “Yes but that doesn’t sound nearly as cool as ‘all of humanity’.” Ah, of course.

“Go to the park again. I know that area best and we can work our way out from there,” Is told Diego. He nodded and soon we were there.

We got out of the car and into the morning sun. Is scrambled around to the front and took out all the stuff she had had there. Diego and I just stood back and watched amusedly.

“These are the posters. There isn’t many because not a lot of people can read. But each of you take one,” Is ordered passing Diego the small stack. There were maybe only twenty papers. We also each got a roll of masking tape.

“Every person you see, tell them exactly what is on the poster, and then ask them to pass the word around. Hopefully that way everyone will know about it.

“We will all go around together, but spread out slightly, that way we can't get lost because none of us know our way around.”

“That’s it?” Diego asked skeptically.

Is nodded slowly like we were slow or something. “We need people to find out about everything before we start.”

I nodded and turned to go down the first street I saw. Then I looked back at Is and caught her staring at me.

“What?” I asked a little rudely. Oh well. I doubt Izzy cared and Uncle Harold was nowhere near by.

Her head was cocked to the side and she studied me. “You defiantly look better with dark hair,” she commented.
