I wandered around the halls of the castle looking for Is. I wasn't very successful. Jessica had gone out shopping once again, and had forced me to write her another cheque for an outrageous amount. But it got her away from me for a couple of hours and I was rich.
"Hey Kingy," Nora said coming down the hall towards me.
"Hey, where's Is?" I asked her.
"Basketball court, they sent me in to get snacks because apparently I suck," Nora scoffed. "Shouldn't you be gone by now?"
"Gone? Go where?" I asked.
"I don't know. Is just said you were going somewhere." Nora rearranged the water bottles and bag of chips she was holding. I took a couple bottles from her and she sent me a grateful smile.
"Well I'll come down with you and find out where I'm supposed to be."
We talked easily as we headed down to the basketball court.
"Oh, it's serious now!" I heard Is call as we got closer. I could see everyone clearly now. "Joshie! Shirt!" she said to him. I wanted to call out so they knew we were there, but I also wanted to see what she was talking about.
Josh immediately pulled off his shirt and handed it to Is. Is smiled at him and then took off her own shirt. Wait, what? She didn't seem embarrassed at all that she was stripping in front of three guys, as well as Nora and I unknowingly. She slipped on Josh's shirt and then after a moment of fumbling with the shirt on the side, she looked up, her gaze immediately settling on me.
"Mikey!" She yelled. I smiled and gave her a small wave before coming closer. I glanced down at the side of Josh's shirt which she was now wearing and was surprised to see she had done something to it so that it was now pulled tight across her hips and didn't look too big for her at all.
"What are you doing here?" Is demanded.
"I come baring water," I said holding up the three bottles I held.
"I see that. But I asked D to kidnap you like fifteen minutes ago. Why are you not kidnapped?" That was actually a very funny question.
"And why would I want to be kidnapped?"
"Because you have to go find someone you can trust who can lead the build of Sorsa," Is said like it was the simplest thing ever.
"Okay, and I need to leave why?"
"Because you actually need to go and find this person."
"By tonight?" We started build tonight.
"Yeah. You said you had contractors and stuffed who have worked for you before. Just go find one that can be loyal to you and not Harold."
"You make it sound so simple," I complained.
"It is. Kinda. Now go Mikey, you're wasted daylight," Izzy said giving me a slight push back towards the castle.
"I thought you would have already taken care of this, why are you leaving this to last minute?" I questioned.
"Because I know nothing about building and you are king and you must know something. Besides, you shouldn't complain about doing something for your people," Izzy chastised. Yeah, but I'm only complaining because I want to spend time with you before you go home at the end of next month, I thought. But I knew she was right. I needed to fix things for these people.
"Fine. But can I ask you something?"
"Sure," Is said looking surprised.
"Why did you just change in front of everyone? What was the point of changing?"
