Chapter 13- I wish
The next morning, agad agad kaming nag check out sa Campbell's H. at pumunta na agad sa Estrella Forest, sa Laverde. I'm super excited! Nabalitaan ko kasi na maganda daw do'n at nakaka relax.
"Ready?" He said, asking me.
"Yup."
Matagal din ang byahe, mga 4 hours kaya mukhang mabobore ako dito, este kami.
So I checked my facebook.
"Apollo.."
"Yep?"
"Smile.." Sabay tutok ng phone sa Amin.
I posted our picture immediately. Then I tagged him.
'On our way to Estrella Forest! -with Apollo Atkins'
"Nga pala, Luxien. Your manager didn't gave us the contract." Aniya.
Oo nga naman, walang inabot sa Amin. Anyway, siguro hindi pa napa print ang contract.
"Oo nga, 'no? Siguro, pag balik nalang natin sa Manila."
He nodded at tumahimik nanaman ang paligid.
Pero binasag no'ng phone niya ang katahimikan, someone's calling from his phone but he's not answering it.
"Why don't you answer your phone? Maybe it's important."
He stopped the car, tapos lumabas nadin siya, dala 'yung phone.
Raven calling...
Halos mapatalon ako sa gulat, tss! Si Raven naman!
"What is it? Raven Francine Moore?"
'Hindi talaga uso sa'yo ang hello 'no?'
"Yeah..yeah.. So, why did you call?"
Hindi siya sumagot, ano problema nito?
"Hey..Raven?"
'Uhmm..f-free ka ba tonight?'
"Nope. I'm working on my career. Nasa malayo ako ngayon. Why?"
'Ah..eh..nothing. L-Let's just meet again sometime."
"Wai--"
Binabaan ako ng phone? Aba! Bastos 'tong bruha na 'to, ah?
"Let's go." Nagulat nanaman ako dahil biglang pumasok si Apollo. Ano ba meron ngayon at magugulatin ako?
Hindi ko alam kung namalik-mata lang ako, but I think I just saw Apollo wiped his tears. Is he crying? Sino ba 'yung tumawag sa kaniya?
"Hey.."
"Hmm?" His eyes are on the road.
"Are you ok?"
"Ah...yeah...I-I'm..ok...n-nothing..to worry.."
I'm not satisfied in his answer. Tanga lang ang maniniwala na okay siya.
"No your not." Sabay iwas ng tingin.
He wiped his tears once more, I can see it in my peripheral vision. "I'm ok. N-Nothing to worry."
