Rowan's POV
I waited for the right time to go to Mr. Hood's room.
Once Ryan was out of the house, I decided that was a good time to suggest that he leaves.
"Mr. Hood?" I said knocking on his door.
"Come in."
I walked into boxes and an almost empty room.
"What are you doing?" I questioned examining all the boxes.
"I can't live here anymore more, Rowan. It's for the best." Mr. Hood shrugged.

5 PM.
No ones home.
Mr. Hood left and so did Ryan.
At least Ryan is coming back.
Tomorrow is Monday which means I have to face Mr. Hood for 5 days.
It's hard to process that I'm going to mostly be alone.
Ryan is hardly ever home and now that Mr. Hood is gone, alone.
Maybe I can invite Tyler over so I won't always be alone.
Me: hey dude , can you possibly come over?
I waited a few minutes for a reply back.
Tyler: Sure ! I'll be over in 10 minutes.
I smiled at his response and walked down stairs to make things look nice.
Ryan left the house a mess.
You can do this Rowan. You don't need no one.
But Tyler is different.

"So Mr. Hood actually lived here?" Tyler said in disbelief.
"For a few weeks." I shrugged scratching my temple.
"That's not weird at all." He laughed.
"I thought I already told you about this." I said jumping up and sitting on top of the counter.
"I think you have but I probably wasn't listening." He shrugged taking a seat next to me on the counter.
"I wish my parents would stay home for once." I said shaking my head.
"They'll come back. Until then, I'll come over to keep you company." He grinned touching my knee.
"Stop." I laughed pushing his hand off my knee.
