Rowan's POV

Mr. Hood walked into the classroom and stood in the center of the classroom.

He inhaled and exhaled loudly.

"Free period." He mumbled walking back to his desk.

Everyone soon got up from there place and went to different sides of the classroom in groups.

I sat at my desk looking at my fingers.

"Guess who I saw yesterday." Tyler blurted facing me while sitting in his seat.

I turned to face him.

"Who?"

"Andy." He replied with a smile.

My heart skipped a beat.

Andy was my boyfriend last year. He made me feel like I was the only girl in this world that was beautiful to him. Every word that came out of his mouth made me feel confident about myself. Andy treated me like a princess. Whenever a boy would want to be my partner in P.E, he would always say something passive aggressive to him. On the last day of school, he said he was leaving the school to go to another school. I thought my life was over. Then he left. I cried for days.

"W-what? Really?" I stuttered picking at the ripped part of my jeans.

"Yeah. Remember that one time you said you wished you could say hi to him? Well, me being a good friend, I told him that you said hi."

"What did he say?" I asked.

"Once I said that you said hi, he said that he misses you and he was so into the topic of you."

"Really?" I blushed feeling my palms start to sweat.

"Yeah." Tyler laughed ruffling his hair.

"Can I tell you something that I am not suppose to tell you?" Tyler nervously asked.

"Sure."

"Andy was asked out by another girl."

I threw my bag down and ran up to my room.

"Rowan! What's wrong?!" Ryan shouted from downstairs.

"Nothing." I said as the tears streamed down my face.

I slammed my door shut and laid on my back on my bed.

The hot tears streamed down my face in every direction.

"Rowan." Ryan knocked.

I didn't respond.

"Rowan?"

"Rowan!"

I heard Ryan angrily huff.

Tyler texted me Andy's number which made today 10 times better.

Andy: I miss you 😓

Me: i miss you too ☹️

Andy: it's getting late. i will talk to you tomorrow x

Me: okay

I turned off my phone and glanced at my clock.
