CHAPTER 15 - BACK IN FRANCE

[A/N: long chapter ahead.]

"Welcome, Mr. Kwon and Ms. Lee!"

A tall, georgeous man in tux welcomed the both of us as we exited the airport.

"I'm Choi Seunghyun, the head manager of Park Block Inc. here in France." He gestured us to follow him to the car that will be our service.

"Hyung!" Jiyong exclaimed.

"Jiyong-ah! Nice to see you again bro!" They fistbump.

Looks like they already know each other.

"Jiyong always comes here alone whenever we have problems with the company. I've known him for ten years now."

Woah! They're really are veterans in this company.

"Hello Mr. Choi! I'm Lee Chaerin." I smiled and he offered a handshake.

"Nice to finally meet you, Ms. Lee. I've heard a lot about you from Mr. Park. I'm looking forward to work with you. I've already am tired of seeing Jiyong's face everytime Mr. Park sends someone from Seoul here. Good thing I'll be seeing a new and beautiful face straight from Seoul to work with us."

I chuckled. "I'll be more than glad to work with you, Mr. Choi."

"You can drop the formality. You can just call me by my name or TOP."

"TOP?"

He nodded. "Here, we have our codenames. Mine's TOP. Jiyong's GD."

"Ahhh... cool!" I exclaimed.

"You should have yours too since I know that we'll be working together often." He put his hand under his chin, pretending to think while making a face.

For a very strict-looking man because of his facial features, he seems to be a funny, friendly and outgoing person. Now I know that looks can be deceiving.

"How 'bout Ciel?"

"Ciel?"

"Mhm... Mr. Park gave me a heads up about and it says you used to live in France. And I know that you know that Ciel means 'sky' in French, right?" I nodded.

"How 'bout CL, hyung? As in only letter C and L to make it shorter? Since it sounds the same and it's kinda near to her name. That way it has two meaning. One is 'sky' and the other one is 'Chaerin Lee'."

"Bingo!! You really are a one smart ass, Jiyong." TOP said then they fistbumped again.

Ugh! I hate hearing Jiyong's voice. Even inside the plane on the way here, I didn't bother waste even a single word to talk to him. I just sleep with my earphones on so I can't hear anything that is coming from him.

"We're here!!" TOP announced.

I looked outside and I saw a very tall building. He gestured us to get off of the car and follow him inside the building.

"Good morning monsieur and madame! Welcome to Mieux Hotel! I'm Shin Hyeri. What can I do for you?!"

"Uhm... we're here for a reservation under Choi Seunghyun."

"Ahh... wait a minute, sir." She dialled something on the telephone and after a few minutes, she hang up.

"Your reserved rooms are ready, sir. Someone will take you there in a minute."

"Bon. Merci."

We sat in the waiting area for someone to take us to our room.

After ten minutes, a guy approached us and lead us to our rooms. "Hello! I'm Jung Haneul. I'll be your personal assistant here. Please follow me."
