CHAERIN'S POV

Sunday came without any calls from Jiyong. This is getting me worried at the same time, remembering the events last night back at the club Youngbae and I went to.

I tried contacting him for a million times now and it's either directing me to his voicemail or his out of reach. Urgh!

I got up from bed, did a quick shower, wore something simple yet nice, and exited my room.

I'm going to his house.

"Noona... Eodi ga?" Looking behind me, I saw Seunghyun sitting on the sofa.

"Out." I simply answered. "There's food on the fridge if you and Harin ever feel hungry. Just heat it. I don't know what time I'll be back so.. you're in charge. Call me when something happens." Not waiting for his response, I quickly left the house and hailed a cab.

Arriving there after an hour, I paid for my fare and went infront of his door.

Ringing the doorbell for how many times now and him not answering the door is making me furious.

Then it left me no choice....

I grabbed the key on where he told me he hides it and opened the door for me. Even though he told me I can come whenever I want to, I still respect his privacy.

But not this time.

I let myself in and went straight to his room. I saw it slightly ajar so I assume that he's inside since he never lets it open when he's not inside.

Quietly pushing it to give me enough space to enter, I saw him standing by the veranda, smoke coming near him.

He's smoking.

"Jiyong.." I faintly called his name but knowing him for having good hearing, he quickly turned around to meet my presence.

"What are you doing here?" Was his first sentence he spat.

"You weren't answering my calls so I came."

"..."

"Why?" Asking while walking towards him slowly but immediately halted when the smoke from his cigarette filled my nose. "Could you throw that first? I can't bear the smell." Pointing at the lit stick between his fingers. Good thing he did what I said but he never did any movements after that, he just stayed there.

"How long have you been here?"

"I just arrived. So tell me, why aren't you answering my calls, huh?"

"I never answered any from the others too so don't feel left out." He retorted which taken me aback.

"And why so?" Sounding a little irritated.

"I just don't feel to." He gave me an annoying answer again.

"Yah~ what's with your answers, huh? It sounds offensive."

"Oh.. So you're got offended by it. Tsk."

"Kwon Jiyong! What's with your attitude?"

"Why? You don't like it, huh? You don't like when someone's bitching you the way you do best to others?"

What?!

"What the fuck are you talking about huh? If I can remember, you're the one who's bitching around. Bitching around with his ex when he clearly told me he hated her as much as I do!" I spatted. "You even told me you're meeting a friend when I all I can see is that bitch ex of yours who is busy grabbing your attention which you voluntarily gave. Tsk. I should've known."

"Why were you there in the first place?"

"Youngb----"

"Because you're cheating on me with that bastard 'bestfriend' of yours. Am I right?"

"What the? I am not cheating you with Youngbae. He just invited me to go with him since my boyfriend ditched our plans to go to his ex. So don't turn the tables on me, Jiyong."

"Oh~~" he cooed. "Look who's talking. When clearly my 'girlfriend' ditched his boyfriend for lunch to have some with who she calls bestfriend."

"What?"

"You think I didn't know?" He walked passed me and stopped at his bedside table and turned around to face me then he gave me an envelope.

Due to my curiousness, I opened it and looked at the what's inside it. My eyes widen at the sight of it.

Pictures of me and Youngbae back in the woods were he invited me for a picnic. Each picture is so clear that it looks like it was a photoshoot. Plus, it's so close.

"You two were so sweet together. He even feeds you and you did the same to him. Don't you know how disgusting is that when you are not even in a relationship?" He inched closer to me, staring into my eyes and my eyes only. "Or are you?"

"What the hell are you saying, Jiyong? Are you really accusing me of cheating on you with my bestfriend?!"

"Goddammit, Chaerin!" I took a step back because of his outburst. "Stop calling that bastard 'bestfriend' because I can clearly see that it he isn't!"

"What the fuck?! Well... If you see it that way, fine. I don't give two shits about it because I know what's the truth. And if ever I was cheating like what you accused me of, well at least it's with my bestfriend. Not with my EX." I reached my limits. I went here to know the problem, not to cause any. But he looks like he's looking for one so lemme give it to him.

"If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have known that my girlfriend is doing those behind my back. So tell me, since when are you doing this?"

"You know what? I can't believe that you easily fell for that witch's trick. I thought you know better than that. Guess I thought wrong."

I turned my heels and went for the door. "This conversation won't get us anywhere good, so I
might as well leave before I can still contain my anger and frustration from everything you've just told me and accused me of." With that being said, I left his premises and went somewhere I never knew where, I just want to be out of his sight right now.

I need to breathe some fresh air because something's suffocating me.

And I think that something is Jiyong's behavior he just showed me just now.
