After lunch, his mom told us to stay longer, specifically, until dinner. Guess they haven't been hanging out for quite awhile that's why she wants us to not to go soon.
We all sat in the living room, Jiyong beside me, his sister beside him and his parents infront of us.
"So... adeul-ah, how's everything going?"
"Nothing has changed, umma."
"Is Jinyoung still the same?"
"Ne.. Mr. Park still treats me the same, appa"
"Aishh... you guys are so lame. Talks the same topics all over again." His sister butted in. "Let's focus now on what's obvious."
She looked at me. "How did you and my brother met?"
"Uhhh..."
"She works there, too."
His parents 'oohed' at his answer.
"I'm talking to her, not to you. I'm so tired of hearing your voice for the whole day while she didn't even utter a paragraph since you both got here."
She's right
"Noona, she's just nervous."
"I know. That's why I want her to talk, to make her comfortable with us. So shut up and let her speak." She scolded her brother that made him shut up.
I chuckled at his action.
"Sorry about that. It's a normal thing for us anyway. I just love teasing my little brother."
"Ne.. gwaenchanayo."
"Don't be too formal with me, deary. I won't eat you."
"She'll just bite you." Jiyong interjected.
"Shut up, Jiyong. You know what.. why don't you and dad drink some champagne? I bought some yesterday."
"That's a great idea." His dad spat. "Let's go, son." He dragged his son away from.
"But..." he looked at me.
"She'll be fine here." His sister assured him. Then the two men disappeared in the living room.
"I'll be in our room, Dami. I'll leave you two girls alone here. I'm sure those two will have a long night." She pointed at her husband and her son.
"Ne, umma."
"Ne, Mrs. Kwon." I smiled at her.
Soon, only me and Jiyong's noona, Dami unni, are left.
At first, it was awkward. Really awkward. I secretly looked at her and she looks so intimidating because of how she dresses. That's what I also felt about Jiyong before.
"..."
She chuckled. "You know.. you really don't to feel nervous infront of me. I know you're feeling intimidated by my presence, I've heard that a lot, but I swear, we can be great friends."
"Ne.."
She held my hand. "Call me unni too."
"Ne."
"Let me tell you something..." she started. I looked at her, waiting for her to continue.
"You are the first girl my brother brought here."
What?!
"Huh?"
"I know right.. quite confusing there. But, we knew every girlfriend Jiyong had. He tells us about those. It's just.. whenever we want to hangout with him and his girlfriend, he refuses to bring her here. It's always in restaurants or parks, but never here. That's why we all are surprised to see you."
"Uhhm.."
"You are one special girl to him, Chaerin. I know my brother. He never decides fast. It's always for the sake of the future. Even Dara, Mr. Park's daughter, I know you already know her because you work there too..." I nodded.
"...even her, she never receives this kind of treatment from him, to the fact that she has the longest relationship with my brother. So you better feel like a very very lucky girl." She smiled.
I laughed awkwardly. "N-ne."
"See? You're still nervous. How 'bout this... uhh.. tell me how you and that punk met." she's pertaining to her brother.
I suddenly swallowed my saliva when she asked me that.
"Uhh... well... it's not a smooth start to begin with."
She chuckled. "I knew it. It was always like that. Whenever I asked that question to his past girlfriends, that's always how they start their sentence. Anyway... please continue."
Then the story began. I told her how me and Jiyong fought like Tom and Jerry before then how he confessed to me and how we became what we are now. All she did was listen and nod to everything I'm saying. No interruptions from her occurred during the process.
"So..." she looked right into my eyes. "Have you two already did it?"
Did what?
I looked at her, confused can be read in my eyes.
Then it hit me.
My eyes widen upon realizing what she meant by that then I quickly looked away and lowered my head, making my hair cover some parts of my face.
"So you did, huh?" She made a mocking tone.
I don't know what to say.
It's so awkward..
Then I suddenly felt two arms wrapped around me. "I knew it. You are the one I've been looking for."
Huh? Whut?
"You're the girl I've been looking for for Jiyong. You totally changed my brother, for the better."
"Uhh... what do you mean, unni?"
"You changed my brother. Can't you see it? The things he had never done before, he did it to you. You are something, Chaerin. I know you are."
"Thank you unni"
"No... thank you. Don't worry, I'll always be there for you. Tell me if that punk hurt you. I'm now on your side. Ara?"
"Ne."
"Good."
After a few more hours, Jiyong told them that we'll be heading home now since it's already getting late.
Since Jiyong is quiet a little drunk, I decided to drive the car for our safety even though he refuses and tells me that he's still fully sober. But I can risk our lives for that.
The drive to my house is somewhat quiet, but not the awkward quiet though, just peaceful.
I told Jiyong to just stay for the night in house because I don't want him to drive knowing that he's drunk.
I guided him inside the house after I park the car. I held his hand and gently dragged him in.
I was about to climb up the stairs to where the guestroom is when...
"Chae..."
I turned around and saw someone sitting on the couch, with my two siblings.
My eyes widen when my eyes landed on them.
"Unni?"
