Chapter 7- Jealousy & anger😈

Rebekah held me and we fell into the snow with Elijah beside us. He stroked my hair and pulled me onto his lap. Rebekah held my hands and the Cullens disappeared, promising not to think of my melt down in case Edward was listening to their thoughts. Maybe he wasn't my mate. Maybe i had a mate somewhere else who'd love me for me and not get married without even trying to find me first.

''Bella, siblings'' Klaus's voice filled the clearing, he took in my tear stained face and frowned deeply, looking generally concerned for once in his immortal existence. He sat beside us on the snow and held his hands out to me. I took them cautiously. Before i could comprehend what was happening i was sat on his lap and it felt good?

"What happened little swan?" Klaus asked using his pet name for me and he smiled a genuine smile, not his sarcastically lopsided smirk which in all honesty set my dead heart racing.

"Edward got married Klaus...to Tanya'' i state sadly and i swear his breath caught in his throat. He looked upset but why would he? Being upset means you cared in the first place and Klaus doesn't care...about anybody except himself and Rebekah....occasionally Elijah, depending on the circumstances.

''Let's show him what he's missed out on lil' Swan'' Klaus grinned and dragged me to my feet. The witch spells were removed and i was restored to my former appearance.

No one's P.o.v.

''Make him jealous Bells" Rebekah whispered in her ear and they walked back towards the house. Bella stood between Elijah and Klaus as they entered the house. They sat side by side of the sofa. Tanya sat on Edwards lap smirking at Bella. Surprisingly, Bella managed to stay looking utterly unfazed.

"So, hybrids?" Klaus asked Eleazar and everybody left the room besides Eleazar, Bella and the Mikaelsons.

"Yes, you'll have to search through these books" Eleazar off loaded piles of books into their arms and Bella rolled her eyes. Elijah sat formally on the sofa. Rebekah sat leaning against the arm of her chair, her legs stretched in front of her. Klaus sat beside Elijah, looking more relaxed than his some what professional looking brother. Bella had her legs across Klaus's lap and he balanced a book against then. Bella's book was balanced on her torso. The others entered the room and Edward glared at Klaus. All the originals and Bella held in laughs.

"Nik i found something" Bella says excitedly and Klaus drops his book onto the table. He scoops Bella into his lap and she shoves the book in his face. Rebekah smiles and Elijah sees her, understanding what she was up too, she was purposely trying to set up Klaus and Bella but by making it seem like they were just acting.

"Well done lil' swam." Klaus said excitedly and lifted her into his arms, standing and spinning her. She giggles and wraps her legs around his waist so she doesn't fall on the floor. None of them could tell that Edward was beyond angry. Klaus chuckled and kissed her head, placing her on her feet.

" thank you Eleazar, we will now be on our way" Klaus informs and they all say there farewells before exiting the room. They were in the car and Rebekah could see that she had sparked something between her brother and the swan girl, she just hoped it was enough for them to fall in love. Bella could be Klaus's redemption.

Elijah and Rebekah had disappeared as soon as they had gotten to a hotel and it was left to Klaus and Bella to book a room. Klaus compelled the pent house and they travelled up there. It was silent but not an awkward silence.

" what are you going to do about Edward?" Klaus asked seriously, sitting beside the girl on the breakfast stools. Bella turned to him and gave the hybrid a watery smile.

"There's nothing i can do. Twice he has strayed and proved he doesn't love me. Now i can do nothing but move on , find real love."

"I hope you find it little love" Klaus smiled, he wasn't usually kind to anybody but something about Bella brought out another side of him. Bella still loved Edward but deep down she knew that she had feelings for Klaus, somewhere.

"After one hundred years of searching for love and failing, I've come to believe that it doesn't exist, or if it does i do not deserve it."

"Love comes to people who deserve it sweetheart, not to people who search for it. It could be right before your eyes but until you stop searching you'll never find it, you have to let it come to you." Klaus said before kissing her forehead and leaving the room.
