Chapter 62- Paint fight.🎨

Bella giggled happily as she rolled turquoise paint onto the clear white wall. Klaus was working at the other end of the wall and was completing it painfully slowly and precise. It was evident that he'd never painted a wall in a house before though he was an amazing painter on canvas. Bella giggled again and he looked up at her in confusion.

"Why are you laughing?" He questioned her but his eyes widened when he noticed that she was almost finished with her half of the wall, he'd barely started as he took ages choosing brushes whilst she went for a large roller.

"How have you done so much already?" He accused and she giggled....again. He rolled his eyes.

"Magic" she teased and he was momentarily confused, wondering if she had actually used her witchy powers eventually he realised by her teasing voice and the glint of humour in her eyes that she was just joking and she was quoting his words from earlier.

"You are a bit behind" she mocked as he looked back at the wall which he'd only done a patch of. He turned back to her and began chasing her around the large empty , trying to grab her but she turned and accidentally smeared paint across his face from the brush she held in her hand. He froze and released her in shock.

"Klaus?" She asked his frozen form, stepping backwards at a somewhat hasty pace, he soon unfroze and a devilish smirk appeared on his face. He lunged forward, reaching to grab her and when he had he painted a turquoise line directly down the centre of her face, this time she froze before smearing a line across his lips, to this he laughed and kissed her cheek, smearing paint on her.

Moments later and the couple found themselves utterly covered in turquoise paint. They both looked at each other and laughed.

"Let's finish up in here and then shower" he suggested and she nodded, there was no point in clearing up until they had finished painting the room so they continued. Shortly after, due to vampire speed, they had the walls of the room painted and they waltzed into the closet, pulling a towel and a change of clothes from the bag before heading off to shower.

Klaus switched on the shower carefully, he was still dressed and was trying to get the temperature perfect before they entered. The room was mostly empty besides the things that fitted furnishes. They had only brought towels, spare clothes and the wash things that they'd need.

"Its ready now love" he mumbled and she smiled, stepping into the shower fully clothed, only having removed her shoes. Niklaus stood in shock before following her lead and entering also. When the water had showered over them enough I remove the paint from their skin, they began pulling off their sopping wet clothing and throwing it into one of the sinks beside the shower.

"Gorgeous" Nik complimented yet again when they were fully naked. She rolled her eyes and reached up for the soap, beginning to smear it along his chest, looking up at him through her eyelashes. He growled and she laughed, returning to normal and removing the rest of the paint from their bodies.

"I love you" Klaus murmured as he reached forward and wiped away a smear of paint on her face.

"I love you to" she murmured whilst smiling up at him.
