It had been a week and a half since Bella's encounter with charlie and Renee and she had fallen into what could only be desired as depression, she forever refused to leave her bed unless she needed to use the bathroom, she had not even had as much as a sip of blood since the day and everyone had run out of ideas.
Nik was the family member who took her state the hardest, her sadness reflected upon him and he always showed anger on his features, he was dying inside, every meeting he had at the abattoir consisted of an angry glare from the hybrid.
"Nik" Klaus whipped around to see his fiance behind him, he had been painting in his study and he did not notice her enter though the fact that she had left their bedroom was a sure sign that things were looking up.
"Bella love?" He opened his arms to her and she walked straight into them, wrapping her slender arms around his muscular torso, she'd missed the sanctuary of his arms and he'd missed holding her.
"I'm sorry for everything, I've acted selfishly, I shouldn't of ignored you for this long" she expressed guiltily and he frowned at her.
"Don't feel guilty darling, everything is okay, you needn't feel like that, I'm okay, I'm just glad you are up"
"I'm tired of feeling sad, from now on I'm going to be happy, I don't need them, I have you and I have the others."
"That's right" he agreed with a smile and she returned it, he was liking her newfound joy and he wasn't going to dampen it.
"And, I do believe our wedding Is well over due" she smiled informing him that she wanted to start wedding planning, this fact made him grin in excitement.
"Precisely, but first things first, there's some people who've missed you" he smiled and she grinned, taking his hand and dragging him excitedly from the room.
The pair soon arrived at Henrik and Jeremy's bedroom door and Klaus opened the door, Bella had not seen the room since it was completed and so she was excited to see that final result.
The room was precisely how she'd envisioned it to be, the walls and ceiling were painted a refreshing green and the floor was constructed if paneled honey coloured wood, studio lights lit the room and there was a sliding white door that lead to a miniature living room set up. Each boy had s double bed that was perfectly decorated with yellow covers and a mahogany dresser was opposite for each teen.
Topping off the room was a coconut coloured rug and the two boys sat in their beds, Henrik had a crease in his brow as he read through a large book that Klaus had given him. Jeremy however was sat on his own bed drawing using the supplies Nik had gifted to him.

"Boys" Klaus greeted and they looked up sharply at the voice, spotting their 'mother' standing in the doorway behind their 'father'.
"Mum!" They both ran to her and hugged her tightly, Jeremy was slightly taller than Henrik but that was one of the only differences, they could easily pass as fraternal twins.
"What about me?" Klaus teased and they chuckled but hugged him as well.
"Sorry dad" Jeremy chuckled and the hybrid mused his hair, he really enjoyed being called father by he boys, he couldn't say why but he had always wanted children.
"We missed you" Henrik smiled.
"I missed you to, but I'm back now and that means you need to sort this out" Bella pointed to the cupboard, opening it and stepping back as all the clothes tumbled out, they'd merely shoved the new clothes in there.
"We'll get right on that" Jeremy mumbled sheepishly as he scratched the back if his head and the parents laughed before biding goodbye and exiting swiftly, heading directly to their next destination; Nadia's nursery.
Bella and Klaus entered promptly, not bothering to knock, suddenly Bella was bombarded by the baby, her eyes wrapping tightly around her.
The nursery was truly beautiful, everything was either dull grey or dusty pink and a large stone mirror occupied the wall. Sat elegantly on the armchair was Elijah, Katherine sat on the floor at his feet.

"Sistwer sistwer" Nadia cheered and Bella giggled as she lifted the baby, spinning her around, Nadia lost interest when she spotted Nik.
"Uncwle Nik!" She squealed in a high pitched manor and Bella passed the hybrid his bubbly niece, the baby was now sucking her hand, dribble dripping down her arm, causing Klaus to cringe slightly.
"You okay there brother?"
"Excellent" Klaus returned to the suited original with sarcasm lacing his words.
"Bella, I was thinking, as your wedding is coming soon, we need to get you a dress!" Katerina yelled and Bella noticeably frowned before relaxing her muscles and smiling with a nod.
"Uh, yeah" she smiled.
"What about the bachelor party?" Damon asked, appearing in the doorway of the nursery with Rebekah, the blonde hit his chest gently.
"And the bachelorette" she rolled her eyes.
"That to, it's just an excuse to get pissed" that of course earned him another slap. Nadia was now gurgling loudly, sat on Elijahs knee.
"Oi, language!" Katherine hissed and Damon smirked at her.
"Its true though" Alaric justified as he entered the room with Jenna, sitting on the rug beside Bella and Nik.
"It is not, the bachelor party is to celebrate Nik finally getting married after a thousand years" Stefan responded as he and Caroline entered.
"A thousand years" Bella sighed and stood up, exiting the room and walking down the corridor, she couldn't help her feelings, he was a thousand years old, he'd been with hundreds of women, Bella couldn't understand why he'd choose her over all others.
"What's wrong? Are you having second thoughts about marrying me?"
"Never, I would never regret choosing to be with you Nik, not in a million years but I just need to know for sure that this is what you want"
"I've never wanted something so much in my entire life" he responded, never removing his gaze from hers.
"That's all I needed to hear" she whispered and jumped into his arms, attacking his lips with her own, feeling him carry her to their room and the silken sheets pressing against her back....
