Damon grumbled as some kid kicked the back of his chair, it was clique and unwanted in one. Not to mention how his legs were to long to fit in the gap despite the fact that they were in first class, the window was grimy and his seat uncomfortable.

"I hate planes" he growled and Rebekah giggled at him, her eyes roaming over the iPad in her lap as she looked at random fashion items that Damon failed to understand.

"They aren't that bad Damon" Elijah responded from the seat in front. The layout of their group was rather random. Damon and Rebekah sat near the back, then Elijah, Nadia and Katherine, then Stefan and Caroline, Jenna and Alaric, Matt and Lavender, Bonnie and Enzo, Jeremy and Henrik and finally Klaus and Bella.

"No they are horrible" Enzo agreed, speaking loudly so that they'd hear him from their seat near the back of the plane, the gap was extensive.

"At least someone agrees, they are horribly boring" The older Salvatore brother grumbled.

"The plane ride to Tokyo wasn't that bad" Bella responded and they were required to use their enhanced hearing to even understand the words which left her lips due to the gap.

"Oh yes, Tokyo, that was one magical trip" Damon laughed sadistically and anyone who'd been present on that particular trip rolled their eyes a his cocky evil demeanor.

"What happened in Tokyo?" Henrik asked and Jeremy smirked.

"Damon got laid" the hunter sang slightly and the younger boy frowned.

"Laid?"

"Oh come on man, he totally slept with this hot supermodel"

"Whoa"

"Jeremy don't be a bad influence" Isabella charted and the boy rolled his eyes though, Klaus was attempting to not laugh Bella hit his arm gently.

"He's going to live forever, he'll pick it up eventually" the original hybrid reminded her and she sighed, sobering lightly.

"Is he?"

"Is he what?" Klaus asked as he looked over at her, his hand reaching to take hers, relishing in the warmth.

"Going to live forever? He's human Nik"

"When he's eighteen we'll ask him what he wants, okay?"

"Are you sure? He gets a chance to be normal" Bella smiled.

"Would you be normal if you got the chance?".

"No"

"Why not?"

"If I was normal I'd never of met you" she replied and he smiled sweetly at her, pressing his lips to her soft cheek as she leant over and laid her head onto his shoulder, inhaling his scent in bliss.

"Where do you think we'll be staying?" Henrik queried Jeremy as he tapped away on the iPad, vaguely aware of a beautiful flight attendant reaching over his head to get a pillow out of the locker above.

"If Damon was choosing we'd be in some crappy hotel but as Dad and Elijah chose, probably some five star luxury cabin"

"That's what I love about being rich"

"You're telling me. I was thinking H, do you think we should ask to go to school?" The hunter asked the human.

"School? Really? Why?"

"Well we never do anything but sit around and eat and game. Plus, Nadia will go to school soon and when mum and dad have kids, they will as well"

"I suppose we could ask but I don't really know much" the human responded and scratched his brown hair in embarrassment.

"Our family is vampires Hen, I'm sure we can work something out."

"I guess."

"I'm so glad I met you" Enzo whispered to Bonnie who sat beside him, their hands joined and their lips in smiles, they were proud to say they were dating and Enzo had full intentions of asking her to be his bride soon.

"I'm glad I met you, I'd probably be sat in the grill eating the famous noodles and flicking through spell books for the rest of eternity if I didn't."

"Well we can still do that if you wish?"

"Hm, I like that idea" she flirted and he smiled whilst kissing her softly in the lips, he reminisced in the cheery ChapStick flavour as they soared through the skies.

"I was thinking, when we get home, did you want to buy someplace for ourselves?"

"Really?"

"Yes really" he answered hesitantly "Matt and Lavender are planning on returning for a few weeks in France and I just thought you'd want some alone time" he scrambled to explain.

"I'd love to move In with you Enzo"

"Are you excited about going to visit your family?" Matt asked his beautiful girlfriend, his hands playing with her strawberry blonde curls.

"Yeah, I don't think I've ever been more excited about seeing them, I haven't seen my brothers in three years" Lavender replied as she picked at her link nail varnish, her eyes trained on the clouds through the window.

"Well I'm excited to meet them"

"They are excited about meeting you too but if they ask loads of questions, you font have to answer and Teddy always leaves the toiler seat up and Ron is a horrible cook. Jace always throws his dirty washing down the stairs and -" she was cut off by a pair of lips.

"They sound amazing Lav, and compared to my dysfunctional family, they'll look normal"

"Oh gosh I love you" she gushed and attacks his lips.

"Do you really think it's a good idea?" Jenna asked Alaric worriedly as she played with her wedding band.

"It's a good idea. We can't have kids Jenna but we can adopt them, think of all the kids out there looking for a home? This is the perfect place for them" the ex history teacher tried.

"This is no world for human kids Ric"

"We have enough money to care for them, we're strong enough to project them and I'll even start being a teacher if that makes them feel more normal?"

"Fine, I've always wanted kids but we have to be careful"

"Thank you" he breathed and kissed her softly, the kiss building.
