Bella slid to the edge of the bed stiffly and somewhat awkwardly as she cradled her stomach, she felt fit to burst and although she knew they couldn't predict a due date, she knew the babies were coming.
"Need some help?" Klaus asked sleepily as he rolled over to find his wife struggling to stand. She managed to get to her feet at the precise time he asked and she smiled in silent victory.
"Nope I'm good, I've waited this long, can survive a few more weeks" she giggled and he turned his blurry gaze to the alarm clock as darkness still plagued the room.
"Why are you up so early?" He asked as he watched the sunrise.
"We always get up early to feed the horses. Plus, we're going to town today and it gets busy around lunch so we need to get there before then" she informed and he sighed sadly. "What's wrong?"
"Is it bad that I feel like you're moving on without me? You have done this whole pregnancy alone and you've got a new house and routines and...I'm sorry it's stupid" he chuckled.
"It isn't and I haven't moved on without you, I never could, I'm drifting...waiting for you to come and make us all a family again. It's true though that I've became closer to Dorian, Caroline and Davina than I ever thought possible." She smiled as she took an outfit from her wardrobe, her haze momentarily locking on Klaus's cases in the corner.
"We'll all be a family again soon" he promised as he yawned and rolled over.
"Go back to sleep"
"You sure love?"
"Yeah, you look exhausted and I'm sure I'll survive an hour or so without my bodyguard" she teased.
"You love it" he smirked.
"My strikingly handsome husband and protector? Of course" she winked and entered the bathroom, how could she be some hot and flirty in the morning whist pregnant? It bewildered him, she was pure perfection.
Today Bella decided to dress somewhat casually, she couldn't be bothered with tight clothing and her body felt insecure so loose was better. she dressed is a white top with frilled sleeves, it successfully hid her bump and she wore black stretchy leggings and boots.

As she walked stiffly down the stairs she knew it'd be a long day. When in the kitchen, she spotted Dorian, Davina, Caroline, Jeremy and Henrik waiting around with a baby Nadia.
"Let's sort out these horses then" Dorian ushered and they followed him into the now warming outside air. The stable doors were opened already and the horses grazing the grass though Nadia's pony 'berry' ran over when he spotted her, it was as if they had a bond.
"Berry!" The baby gargled and ran to the animal which bent its head forward to meet her chubby fingers. The others split up instantly to do different jobs and Bella sat on a bench nearby to watch Nadia play on the grass.
"No you do it!" The hardly dulcet tones of Henrik hollered and they all whipped around to see him shoving a bucket into Jeremy's hands. Bella sighed and stood, they may have outgrown her motherhood but she could still boss them around.
"How about you both do it and be done twice as fast" she smirked and handed another set of tools to the boys who turned grumpily to enter the stables, beginning to muck out the horses.
"They still listen" a voice chuckled and all the original house members turned to see their guests standing around and watching sleepily.
"Yes they do" Bella smiled happily to Damon and he wrapped an arm around her waist softly, allowing her to rest her weight upon him rather then struggle to stay upright.
"You look about ready to pop B" He chuckled and she rolled her violet eyes in exasperation.
"Just a little bit longer"
"Yep then you get to experience labor" Katerina smirked and they all looked at her.
"You seem way too happy about that" Rebekah replied awkwardly and the doppelganger instantly sobered.
"I think you are all underestimating the pain" the brunette shrugged "it hurts like a bitch."
"Oh brilliant, I am so looking forward to immense pain and frustration, thank you for your help Kat" Bella tolled her eyes and her mother figure smirked with a salute and wink.
"Anyway, let's go to the market then" Dorian ushered, only him, Bella , Katherine and Nadia were going but he seemed the most excited for no particular reason. The pregnant vampire sighed but allowed him to take her hand and guide her across the field though not before she pressed a kiss to her husbands lips chastely.
"Ooh, get more blueberries" Caroline ordered and Bella nodded as Dorian pushed her into the car, he was acting as though they needed to be at the town instantly.
"What's the matter with you?" His fellow witch asked as he pulled out of the drive, vaguely aware of Katherine pulling ridiculous faces at Nadia.
"It's Vina"
"Anything in particular about her?"
"She's distant, it's as though she doesn't want us to be together. I was her first love in her teenage years but she's grown up now whilst I never will"
"You are just being paranoid Dorian, Davina loves you I know she does you just need to wait and see what happens, the two of you may live happily ever after"
"Or you may not" Katherine chided and he glared at her through the mirror. "And you might find someone else that makes you complete."
"What Kat means is you can't tell what's going to happen until it does okay?"
