Bella lay on the boat dripping wet, Nik was splashing in the water of the lagoon below and she was sipping her pineapple juice with a smile, they only had a few days left and as the time got shorter, they wished they'd have longer left.
Bella wore a simple vintage design bikini which Niklaus adored. The top was black with white polka dots whereas the bottoms were shorts that were a bright red.

She glanced over the side of the boat and saw him swimming around, she sighed with happiness, he was hers. He glanced up at her and ushered for her to return to the water, she did so without complaint and a flurry of bubbles and sea spray soon surrounded her.
"You are so tanned" he breathes out as he pulled her close, technically it should be impossible for her to tan considering she was technically dead but she seemed to defy all laws of everything.
''Is it bad?" She glanced down at her formally pale hand. He looked at her and shook his head which made her smile, now assured that it was all okay.
"Not at all" he responded and she smiled as she jumped on him, causing him to sink below the water, he popped back up with a chuckle and swam toward her, making her splash away hastily.
"I'll get you" he laughed and she swam faster, unfortunately he grabbed her ankle and pulled her back, making her go under the water, she gasped as it filled her lungs unexpectedly, she broke through the surface and coughed aggressively, water coming out of her lungs, Niklaus frowned and rubbed her back.
"Sorry love"
"It's okay, I'm fine" she smiles and he nods, taking her hand and swimming back toward the boat, boosting her back inside and following shortly after.
"You cold?"
"Not really" he wraps her in a thick towel anyway and she smiles at him, she loved the fact that he cared endlessly for her, it made her feel special.
"what are you thinking about?" He queries as he sits beside her on the leather, he had dried his skin with his towel and was smiling brightly at her, his hair stuck up.
"You" she grins and reaches over, flattening his hair back into its usual style.
"What about me?"
"Hmm, just how handsome you are, I'm so lucky to have you" she sighs and he grins.
"On the contrary, I'm the lucky one" he smiles and caresses her cheek as she smiles at him, he reaches down below the seat and pulls out a picnic basket, he lays a picnic blanket on the deck and she giggles, sitting on it beside him with a smile.
"I've got all your favorite foods; Chocolate, blueberries, strawberries, some sushi, turkey, apple and nutella" she smiles at his act of caring and he passed her a jar of Nutella and a box of apple slices.
"You're so caring" she giggles and dips the apple into the nutty chocolate, he laughs and begins to make a sandwich, she smiles and leans her back against the seat.
"What are we doing tomorrow?"
"Going for a last walk around the forest and then getting ready to go home" she pouts at the answer, the past two weeks had went too fast in her opinion.
"Well we're going to Iceland soon love so don't worry"
"I'm going to miss this place"
"We'll return as soon as we can, I promise you." She smiled at his words and took the food he handed to her. She ate it with a smile and he walked toward the steering wheel, heading the yacht back toward the island.
On the island, Nik began to clear up the kitchen a bit and Bella sat in the living room wearing fresh clothes and flicking through the channels on the flat screen TV, waiting for Niklaus.
Her husband soon entered and she glanced up at him, watching as he collapsed onto the sofa beside her, they watched the movie in silence, wrapped in one another's embrace and thinking about their family.
