Chapter 91- Wolves🐺🐺

Both Katherine and Isabella awoke at the same time, instantly knowing what day it was. It was the day they'd been waiting for. They could tell by the way that when they entered the kitchen area, their father was preparing hunting weapons and through the windows, many were seen running around frantically.

"come on Belle, we have to go and find Nik before its too late, we only have one shot at this." Katerina ushered when they were dressed. Katherine wore a emerald green gown with gold embroidery along the bottom and her hair plaited elaborately with green ribbons.

Belle wore a midnight blue dress with white embroidery, long tight fitting sleeves and a floaty skirt. Her hair was up similar to Katerina though Belle had flowers rather than ribbons.

"let's go" Belle agreed and got her white cloak, throwing it over her shoulders and pulling up the hood as rain rushed down outside. Katerina followed her lead, pulling on her black cloak and pulling the hood upwards. The two looked like twins, light and dark. Opposite but similar.

"run " they said at the same time and took off running through the rain, water seeping into their lather shoes. They joined their gloved hands and ran faster, many people outside ran around hysterically, gathering necessities to bring to the caves.

Niklaus, Elijah, Kol, Finn, Henrik and Rebekah stood outside their Hut into the pouring rain, as usual they'd promised to wait for the Petrova family before retreating to the caves and they withheld that promise.

They all spotted figures running toward them, they first saw two small figures, one shorter than the other, holding hands and running. One dressed in full black and one in full white, as they came closer another figure appeared, this one the same as the first, dressed fully in black.

"hello" the voice of Isabelle chimed and they recognised her in white standing with who appeared to be Katerina though it could be Tatia. The third figure, also in black looked as though it was Tatia.

"where are your parents?" Elijah questioned and all three shrugged clueless. Within that time, Niklaus had exchanged glances with Henrik. The older brother had promised to take Henrik to see the men change into wolves beneath the full moon.

"maybe we should go down to the caves now?" Katerina suggested and glanced at the rainy sky, becoming afraid as the sky darkened. Belle gripped her sisters hand in her own once more, their gloves contrasting. Belle wore white gloves whereas Katty wore black.

"we have over an hour until we even need to think about going to the caves. We only go so early as a precaution but do not fret, we are safe for now." Elijah reassured her and waltzed towards her, wrapping his muscular arms around her as she shook from the cold.

It had been a long time since Katherine had to worry about such things as getting cold or getting a graze when tripping but it was truly hard being a human, more than she'd even anticipated. Katerina rested her head on Elijahs chest, her arms around him, nobody saw their actions as peculiar apart from Tatia who audibly growled, making others stare at her.

"Belle! " Kol greeted with too much happiness, he ran towards her, wrapping his arms around her slim waist and spinning her around, her feet not touching anywhere near the floor.

She giggled violently at his actions, he chuckles along and spins her around. After spinning a few times, Kol sets Belle safely back on her feet and she stumbled dizzily, almost falling but being caught and steadied by a familiar set if arms. She shivered as sparks passed through herself and Niklaus, her mind wandering back to the other world and how she felt the same sparks there with Nik.

Klaus misinterpretated her shivers of pleasure as from the cold and pulled her closer into his chest, his warmth radiated through her and she snuggled into him, her stroked her hair with an absentminded expression upon his face. Nobody found his clear connection with her unusual as many of them also felt a odd connection to the new Petrova sisters.
