Niklaus sighed in frustration, the three females at the door were convinced that Niklaus and Isabella had taken the up entire day to just have sex, he was angered by the accusation and was thrilled when Elijah emerged, ushering them away and leaving Niklaus in bed with his beautiful girlfriend for the remainder of the day.

Morning came and Niklaus awoke early, suddenly noticing that it was Christmas day, the clock read Six o clock and he was strangely excited. Bella woke up shortly after her boyfriend and noticed how happy and excited he was, causing her to grin up at him. He hugged her and she hugged him back, glad to see that the thrashing pain she'd felt had dulled to a low soreness. The two exited their bed quickly, showering and dressing in their similar Christmas themed pajamas which Caroline had persisted upon. Klaus was practically jumping in excitement causing the brunette to giggle and grip his large hand, guiding them both down the stairs, her body still reacted to slight shifting but she suppressed the pain, it was Christmas after all.

"You okay?" Klaus asked, he'd reached the bottom of the stairs but she was frozen midway down, gripping the hand rail in her pale grasp.

"Yeah, not everyone can be as fast as you Mr almighty hybrid." She giggled, bypassing his question and joining him at the bottom of the stairs with a sweet smile. He chuckled and gripped her soft hand yet again. He was still concerned for her well being but chose to not bring it up, guiding her into the large paneled kitchen. Elijah and Katherine sat conversing excitedly at the large mahogany table, caught in one another's presence. They too wore Christmas clothing and Katherine had slicked her hair back into a sloppy ponytail.

Rebekah grinned at her brother when she noticed his arrival at the door, he just stood there wrapped in his girlfriends embrace. The entire family had been made aware of the miscarriage as Klaus wanted them to be careful with their words, Isabella was greatly saddened by the loss and it was uncertain what could cause her pain at the present time.

"Merry Christmas" Rebekah giggled as she hugged her brother tightly, due to Bella, Rebekah had her big brother back. He hugged her in return, kissing her forehead. The blonde then hugged Bella, gently as she did not wish to hurt her. Klaus and Damon did a little 'bro hug' when Damon appeared beside them before the raven haired Salvatore grabbed his sister, spinning her, attempting to be gentle.

"Merry Christmas Baby Bee" Damon sang, laughing at the nickname which brought back many memories. Damon replaced Izzy to her feet and returned to his previous task of flipping pancakes, boasting to Klaus about how he's a 'pro pancake maker' before promptly dropping one onto the tiled floor making Stefan and Klaus roar with laughter from the doorway. Bella smiled at the scene, happy to see her whole family there in Christmas attire and there wasn't a Cullen in sight.

"Izzy" Katherine pulled the girl to sit beside her on the bench that was beside the long table. Klaus followed his girlfriend, his arm instantly embracing her from the side in a protective manner.

"How are you?" Katherine questioned, a motherly concern smothering her doe eyes , the doppelganger had quickly become protective of the youngest vampire, viewing her as a daughter. Katerina knew how the younger brunette felt, having lost her little Nadia all those years ago. She also knew that it was not good to contain her feelings but Bella was never one to express her pain in words.

"I'm okay" Bella responded, she wasn't entirely sure if the words were true, she'd said those words so often in her life that they'd seen sincere whatever the circumstances. Bella's gaze was trained on Niklaus as he buttered a slice of toast, his eyes were furrowed in an adorable look of concentration. The others had now joined them at the table and Bella ran her pale hand through Niklaus's soft curls. The hybrid looked up from his task in confusion but smiled when he noticed Bella watching him, making his blush lightly.
