Not Alone | Soul Archer X Wrayth

Wrayth's POV

I took in a shaky breath, trying not to cry. I lied down on my bed and curled up into a ball before finally giving in. I cried, trying to keep my sobbing and whimpering at a low volume.

"Why can't they just leave me alone...?" I whispered to myself.

"You're such a wuss!" Kai yelled. "What's so scary about it? It's just a freaking robot!"

I whimpered slightly. Jay and Kai were forcing me to walk up to one of the animatronics in NinjaGo's Museum of History. I've always been horrified of animatronics, unless they were from Five Nights at Freddy's. That's probably because those ones aren't real and are possessed by ghosts, so can relate to them in some ways.

"Stop being such a scaredy-ghost and touch it!" Jay yelled.

"B-But..."

I turned around to find Lloyd in a Jeff the Killer mask. He yelled as soon as I turned around, making me scream in fear. I felt tears forming in my eyes as I ran from them. I completely forgot why I was visiting the museum in the first place.

"They never stop..."

It seems like every time I go anywhere, Jay or Kai or Lloyd or anyone else shows up to scare me or bully me. I can't take it.

I'm laying there crying until I hear a knock on my door.

"Wrayth? Are you in there?"

"Y-Yeah..."

"...Are you okay?"

"I-I'm fine..."

"No you're not. Let me in."

"The door's unlocked."

The door opened, and Soul Archer stepped in, a look of worry on his face. He lied down behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind, resting his head atop of mine. He spoke to me in a very kind, caring, and gentle voice he only uses if he's comforting someone.

"What happened?"

"I was at the museum today... And Kai, Jay, and Lloyd were there... They forced me into the animatronic exhibit and we're trying to force me to reach out and touch one of them."

"I bet that scared you didn't it?"

"Y-Yeah..."

"Anything else on your mind?"

"No one loves me. It seems like everyone is mean to me all the time, and I can't catch a break. Well, everyone except you guys."

"You wanna know something? I also have a deathly fear that people used to tease me about. I also feel unloved in this world. Wrayth, you're not alone. Turn around."

I flipped myself around so I was looking straight into Soul Archer's eyes.

"I love you," Soul Archer said.

I could feel myself tearing up at that statement. But this time, it was from pure happiness.

"I love you too."

I closed my eyes and said, "It's getting dark out, can we stay like this?"

Soul Archer chuckled and said, "Sure. Goodnight."

"Goodnight," I said with a yawn.

He pulled my closer to him and I fell asleep to the sound of his heartbeat.
