Ingredients:

900g potatoes

55g flour

85g butter

55g grated cheese

2 hard-boiled eggs

Parsley

450g smoked fish

450g white fish

600mL milk

Pinch pepper

Pinch salt

Cooks Tools:

Baking dish

Board

2 saucepans

Colander

Potato peeler

Sharp knife

Potato masher

Palette knife

Wooden spoon

Step 1: Set oven to 200°, gas mark 6. Peel the potatoes and put them in a saucepan of water to boil.

Step 2: Cut the fish into chunks- (2½cm wide, 1 cm in). Chop the hard boiled eggs and the parsley.

Step 3: Then make a white sauce. Melt 55g butter in a saucepan. Add the flour and stir until it foams a thick paste.

Step 4: Gradually stir the milk into the mixture. Cook over a low heat, stirring it as it thickens. Add parsley, salt and pepper.

Step 5: When the potatoes have cooked, drain them and mash them. Stir in the rest of the butter, a little milk and salt and pepper.

Step 6: Put the fish and chopped egg in the dish. Pour the sauce over them. Spoon the potato on top and sprinkle with cheese.
