Risotto

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon oil

¼ cup of rice

1 bacon rasher

1 piece capsicum

¾ cup water

1 egg

¼ teaspoon chicken stock (powdered)

½ onion

Cold meat of your choice

2 teaspoons soy sauce

Cooks Tools:

Measuring cup/jug

Teaspoons

Knife

Whisk

Fork

Saucepan

Step 1: Chop all vegetables, bacon and meat.

Step 2: Combine water, stock and soy in measuring jug.

Step 3: Heat oil in a small saucepan.

Step 4: Beat egg, cook and remove from pan.

Step 5: Lightly fry onion and capsicum.

Step 6: Add rice to pan, brown, stirring well.

Step 7: Add chopped vegetables, bacon and water.

Step 8: Cook (low heat, lid on) until rice is tender and water absorbed.

Step 9: Add egg and cold meat, stir through.

Step 10: Serve.
