Derek and Isaac drove Riley to the hospital, telling the nurses that she got hit by a car. She remained silent, the aftershock of what happened finally hitting her. She was escorted to a room, in which the doctor assessed her injuries and treated them accordingly. She was silent the whole time, not answering any of their questions, leaving Isaac to answer for her. Derek left as soon as she was met with the nurses inside. He didn't want to hang around, saying he had stuff to do. Riley didn't care, she was just glad that he left. Isaac had to leave shortly after as well, since he wasn't family and visiting hours were over. Riley was left alone in the hospital room after being given some pain killers.

She stared at the wall opposite of her, taking in and recounting every detail that happened that night. She still couldn't comprehend this. Who could? Okay, so Derek and Isaac are werewolves. Can't be the only two, right? Jesus, she hoped there wasn't more. She knew Stiles wasn't a werewolf, judging by his cowardly actions when confronted by Isaac. She couldn't really accuse him of being a coward though, she was too. Is it even called being a coward when confronted by something like that? She honestly didn't think so. Wait, why was Stiles even there? Isaac and him aren't even friends. Right? What does Riley know, she's been wrong about basically everything her whole life. Oh god, Isaac was probably laughing at her the whole time when she did her speech in English about the supernatural only being a myth. Great.

A nurse came in, telling her that her parents were called and were on their way to the hospital. She wondered what they were going to say. They just got pulled out of their busy lives to be told that their only daughter -- this is when they remembered that they had a daughter -- was in a 'car accident'. Riley couldn't bare to see their faces right now, or try to spark a conversation with them, so she just closed her eyes and went to sleep.

She woke up the next day at around 10 in the morning because the pain had come back. She was greeted by some breakfast, complimentary of Mr and Mrs Beacon. They obviously weren't there, seeing as they probably had some plane to catch or something. Her mum was a graphic designer, something to do with house modelling. With this job, she had to travel to quite a few places for meetings about new buildings or to see the progress of her latest mansion model or something like that. Her dad was just a typical businessman, owning a company he started himself. Riley was pretty sure he sold supplies, like a warehouse or something. Riley would hate for her job to take over her life, like theirs do. If she ever had kids, she would never be so engulfed in her job that she forgets about them.

Riley looked at the breakfast which was on a rolling table. It was too far to reach, and it hurt every time she moved. So, she pressed the call button on the bed side table, and a nurse came in with a badge displaying the name 'Melissa' on it.

"Riley, how are you feeling?" She asked nicely as she smiled at her. Riley smiled back and looked at the food table.

"I feel good. A bit sore though. I was wondering if you could wheel that table a little closer to me." She asked, and Melissa nodded. She pushed it over and gave her the plate of cereal and a cup of milk. Riley poured the milk into the bowl and started to eat. "So, what exactly happened to me?"

She paused as she looked at Riley, then went over the end of her bed and pulled up a clipboard with the information on her. She scanned through it, a frown on her face the whole time.

"It says here that you were hit by a car and the car drove off. Two boys were there with you and took you to the hospital. It doesn't say much more than that because we have no witness accounts, and you didn't give us much information. Which is understandable, since it did only happen last night." She explained, and Riley stared at her bowl as she read the information. What a load of bull crap. But of course, Riley couldn't say that it was, or else she would be questioned until she died.

"And my injuries?" She asked, wondering what precisely was wrong with her. She turned the page and started to list a few things from it.

"Bruised ribs and a few bruises and cuts. Don't worry, you're okay now. Your ribs weren't severely damaged, only enough to keep you here for a couple of days. We will give you some instructions on how to look after them on your departure. But one thing that has me perplexed though," She said, as she put the clipboard away and walked over to the side of her bed. "Are these four puncture wounds."

She then proceeded in unwrapping Riley's right forearm from the fresh bandages that she hardly noticed. She unraveled them and revealed four perfect pierces that looked like werewolf claws.
