Riley called Isaac and told him to come to her house so he can help break the news to Olivia. Right now she was yelling at Riley about how they tell each other everything and that this was a very large secret that she kept from her. She almost punched Isaac in the face when he showed her his fangs, so Isaac didn't really want to go near her.
At the moment, Riley and Isaac were talking in the hallway while Olivia tried to wrap her head around the concept of the supernatural being real. Riley gave her the Bestiary in the hopes of her understanding when she left the room.
"Riley, are you sure that was such a great idea?" Isaac asked quietly, and Riley put her hands on her waist as she shrugged.
"I really don't know if it was. But she's my best friend and she deserves answers. Did I really think that I could keep this from her forever when it's such an important part of my life?" Riley mumbled, rubbing her temples.
"Oh yeah, you never told me about what you are. Do you know now?" He asked, and Riley looked up at him.
"I'll tell you and Olivia together. Right now, I think it's best to just stay with her and let her understand fully." Riley said, and Isaac agreed. They went back inside her room, and spotted Olivia on her phone with the book in front of her. "Olivia, why aren't you reading it?"
She looked up from her phone with a dull expression. "Do you really expect me to know how to read..." She looked down at her phone as she read from it with a frown. "Ar...chaic?"
Riley frowned as well and walked up to her, taking the book from her and looked at the pages.
"No? What's Archaic? This is in English, Liv." Riley informed, and Olivia groaned as she looked frustrated.
"Jesus Christ! That's definitely not English honey. Isaac, would you please back me up instead of standing there like a dumb ass?" Olivia snapped, and Isaac was taken aback. He grumbled at Olivia and walked over to Riley, giving Olivia a dirty look as he walked. He looked down at the book in Riley's hand and raised his eyebrows.
"Yep, that is not English. I don't even know what it is." He confirmed, squinting at the words.
"Are you two crazy? It's English! It's..." Riley looked down, and for a second she swore she did not see English but a completely foreign language. She blinked a couple times, but then it went straight back to English. "What the hell?"
Isaac took the book from her and closed it, looking at her carefully.
"Yep, we are definitely seeing Deaton."

"I have this book in a dead language that I can read but no one else can. But I see it as English, and everyone else sees it in Archaic." Riley explained over the phone. Olivia refused to go anywhere so Riley had to stay with her while Derek called Isaac and told him that he needed him. Riley was pacing in her room while Olivia attempted to translate the book, but her translator app could not pick up the words; only what language it was. It recognised a few letters, but the language hadn't been used in a very long time.
"It sounds like your ancestor is very familiar with Archaic, so familiar that it automatically translates it for you when you read it. Have you done any research?" Deaton asked, and Riley felt ashamed.
"Not yet. But I've been collecting books about Beacon Hills and I'm going to read them!" She replied, feeling embarrassed. She was so determined to find out what was going on, yet she still hasn't made the effort to do so. "Thanks, again, I'll get started on it now." She hung up the phone after he bid goodbye and sat on the bed facing Olivia, who was carefully scratching her nose so she wouldn't rub her makeup off.
