She felt a bit bad that she was ditching her family to go to a party when they ditched work to be with her, but they said that they understood. They had plenty of time to hang out, right? Riley wasn't really wearing anything spectacular, just shorts and a singlet since it was probably going to be hot in that small room with lots of bodies. She decided to put on a cardigan just to make sure she wouldn't be freezing afterwards. She put her phone and some money in her pocket along with her ticket and left the house.

She drove all the way there and realized that she was better off walking since there were hardly any parking spaces available. She had to drive all around the building until she spotted an opening to the back of the building and found Stiles' Jeep. She parked next to it and saw Stiles, of course, holding a garbage bag. He frowned at her window, trying to see who it was, until he recognized the car. She got out and locked it, greeting the boy in front of her.

"What are you doing?" She asked, crossing her arms as it was a bit chilly outside.

"I'm creating a barrier of mountain ash so we can trap the kanima and its master in together." He explained, and Riley nodded.

"Okay, and how will you find out who the master is?" She asked, the raving music catching her ears. Stiles looked a bit lost for a second.

"You know, I'm not too sure on that one, but don't worry about it. We'll figure it out." He said, and Riley nodded.

"Okay well, I'm going inside. Call if you need anything." She said, and went around to the front of building and went inside.

It looked a lot like a rave; well, it probably was a rave. Riley wouldn't be surprised if she saw someone passed out or smelt some kind of drug or alcohol there. All ages were allowed to go, so yeah, there would definitely be some kind of illegal stuff happening. Lights were flashing on and off and there was a smoke machine that filled the air, as well as B.O and sweat. Riley was starting to think that this wasn't a good idea. She looked around for someone that she knew, and saw Scott and Isaac talking to each other by a pillar. As she started to walk over, someone had grabbed her arm and yelled in her ear.

"Riley, you're here!" Olivia shouted, and Riley was surprised that she found her so quickly.

"I am! Who's this?" She asked, looking at the boy who was leeching onto Olivia. He was swaying around and smiled dreamily at Riley. He was definitely drunk.

"Um, I don't actually know but he's cute, right?" She replied, laughing into Riley's ear. She couldn't tell if she was drunk as well or she was just really happy.

"Have you been drinking?" Riley asked, and Olivia laughed again.

"Do you think I'm stupid?" She asked, and Riley thought that yes, she did think that she was stupid. But she didn't think that 'yes' was the answer that Olivia was looking for.

"No?" She replied, and Olivia tapped her on the nose.

"That's right!" She exclaimed, and let go of Riley as she continued to grind on the boy. Riley hoped that she looked after herself. When she looked back at where Scott and Isaac were, she realized that they disappeared.

She suddenly felt a bit alone since all of her friends were gone somewhere and she was stuck by herself.

She thought that this was going to be a fun night out with her friends, but of course something like Jackson always comes along and ruins it.

Well, this turned out to be a bust. Riley was hoping that she would spend time with her friends and have fun, but of course that was not the agenda on everyone's mind at that moment. She just left the room; the lights and loud music were giving her a headache. She sat in her car most of the time because she didn't want to go home and have her parents question why she was home early.
