Riley was shaking violently as she stared at Isaac with large eyes. She was so scared of him, wondering if he was going to turn again. She never wanted to be near him again after that. She didn't want to be near anyone at the moment. Her whole world was turned upside down at the news of supernatural being real. So the bestiary isn't a fiction book, it's an information book on real things. So if werewolves are real... Then is everything else in the book real as well? Riley didn't think she could handle that. She couldn't even handle spiders, let alone a whole different world of creatures that she didn't know existed until it came and punched her in the face, literally.

She tried to use the wall to help herself up, but groaned in pain as a pinching feeling came from her side. Everyone in the room turned to her, and stared as if it was the strangest thing they have seen. Wow, an injured teenage girl! Honestly, what is their problem?

"Riley..." Isaac trailed off, then quickly crawled over to her. The fear in her eyes was evident as she held her hand up to him in a pleading manner.

"No! Please, stay away from me. God, please don't come near me." She sobbed, as more tears came falling down her cheeks. Isaac looked hurt, almost as hurt as she did, when he slowly backed away from her, as he kept staring with very sad eyes. Riley's breathing hitched her throat as she grimaced in pain, the sudden movement of her arm hurting her shoulder.

"Riley, are you okay? Are you in pain?" Derek asked, a genuinely concerned look on his face as he slowly walked over to her. She cowered even more, slightly more terrified of him than she was of Isaac. She knew Isaac personally, and she knew that he wouldn't hurt a fly, but she didn't anything about Derek or his werewolf abilities. She didn't know him at all, and definitely didn't want him near her in her state of vulnerability.

"Please, just, stay away. Please... I don't want anything to do with any of you." She whispered, blinking away the late tears as they kept falling from the pain she was in.

"Riley, I understand that this is new to you, but we have to go before we are caught." He said, and walked up to her anyway and crouched in front of her. Riley pushed herself up against the wall even more, showing her reluctance towards him. He held his hand out and lightly held onto her forearm, where she saw this dark liquid appear in his veins and slowly travel up his arm as it seemed to absorb in his body. She suddenly felt better, as if... He took her pain away. She sniffled a little, as he stood back up. Riley didn't even realize the fire alarm was going off this whole time because of the pain distracting her. But wait, did Derek really take her pain away? How is that possible? She thought that she should really stop asking that question. She guessed that anything is possible at that moment.

"Derek, you guys have to go." Stiles reminded him, and Derek nodded. He turned to Riley, pondered for a moment before he bent down, snaked his arms behind her back and under her legs as he picked her up effortlessly. She was breathing heavily the whole time, her adrenaline pumping and her guard always on edge. Isaac looked beyond hurt, and she could tell he was a bit confused. Does he not remember what he did to her? She guessed that he didn't, or else he would have controlled himself.

She kept telling herself that Isaac wasn't himself when that happened, but being a werewolf is a part of his identity now. She couldn't blame the werewolf part of him for doing this, because Isaac is the werewolf.
