Isaac had ushered Riley into the boys locker room, where she was beyond confused.
"Look, listen to me, I only did that to throw the suspicion off of you." Isaac argued, and Riley shook her head.
"And now he's going to kill Lydia! Maybe he thinks there's two Kanimas now, both of which aren't actually the Kanima!" She exclaimed, second guessing what she said. She knew that she wasn't the Kanima, but Lydia? Not so much.
"At least you're safe for now. He'll be busy thinking about Lydia." He argued, then paused for a second. He looked at the door of the locker room, and the door knob clicked and turned. Riley looked at Isaac, who stood in front of her. Scott, Allison and Stiles came in, Scott surprised that Riley was there.
"You said only Isaac was in here." Stiles mumbled, and Scott frowned.
"I thought so." He replied, and Isaac glared at him. Riley looked at them, concern written on her face.
"How's Lydia?" Isaac asked, and Stiles clenched his fist. Riley put her hand on Isaac's arm, and when he looked at her she shook her head.
"Stop causing trouble." She whispered, and Isaac frowned at her.
"You're safe, that's what matters." He whispered back, and Riley took her hand off of him. She sighed and shook her head, before walking to the exit and softly pushing past the group of people. She couldn't believe Isaac; she couldn't believe that he would get someone innocent killed just to save her. She knew his motives were pure, but still, it was wrong. She needed answers, and she couldn't wait until school ended. Plus, she doubted Scott would take her to Deaton now, since his hands were full with Lydia and Derek's pack.
She went to her locker, packed her things and carefully exited the school, making sure no teachers or anyone saw her. She got into her car, started the ignition and drove off to the vet clinic. She needed answers, and she was going to get them.
She received a text from Isaac, just she ignored it. She didn't want to talk to him at that moment. He was so confusing; one minute he follows Riley and the next he follows his pack. Isaac must feel torn because of this. Should he choose his friend, or his pack?

Riley arrived at Deaton's clinic and walked in, the little bell ringing throughout the shop. Dr. Deaton peeked his head through the door behind the counter and smiled, standing in the doorway.
"Ah, you're back. How's your cat?" He asked, but Riley just wanted to cut to the chase.
"I know that you know a lot about the supernatural and I want you to help me. I want you to give me answers." Riley blurted, and Deaton's smile faded.
"Come in here, it's safer." He said, and Riley nodded. She opened the gate and walked inside, as Deaton stared at her funnily. "So you're not a werewolf, are you?"
They walked into the practice room and Riley shook her head.
"Oh god no, of course not. I... I don't know what I am." She replied, and leaned on the stainless steel table. "I mean, I can't get poisoned by a Kanima, I... Werewolves can't pick up my scent, or hear my heartbeat. It's like they can't even tell I'm there."
Deaton listened to carefully, trying to think of possibilities as to why this was happening to her.
"Are you sure you haven't been bitten or encountered something strange lately?" He asked, and looked at her forearm.
"No, I was scratched by a beta werewolf, but that didn't do anything." She replied. Deaton frowned as he thought, until he took out his phone and started to type into it.
"I'm going to call Scott and see if he can come here. I want to test something." He explained, and Riley shook her head.
"He's busy protecting Lydia. Derek Hale is trying to kill her because he thinks that she's the Kanima. He was also trying to kill me as well, since I didn't pass their little test." She said, and Deaton nodded.
"I think I may have an idea of what you are, but first I'm going to test a few things on you so don't freak out. They may hurt, and may even kill you. But if what I think you are happens to be true, nothing will happen to you." Deaton explained, and Riley widened her eyes as she got off the bench.
"Please tell me you have some kind of antidote in case something goes wrong." She said, as she was obviously scared. Deaton smiled and nodded.
"Of course I have antidotes, don't worry." He replied and Riley visibly relaxed. She hoped that what he was going to do was worth it, because to be honest, she would do anything to find out the truth.
