Since Olivia was MIA all day, Riley just hung out with Scott and Stiles, letting Stiles know about her situation with Derek.

"Are you the Kanima?" He asked, and Riley rolled her eyes.

"No! Honestly, why do people think that?" She exclaimed, as she lightly tapped the beaker with her fingernail. They were in Chemistry class, which is a class that Olivia didn't take. She hated science. She sat with Allison, who was listening to their conversation as well.

"Maybe it's the same reason why Derek thinks so." Scott suggested, and Riley sent a death stare in his direction.

"Look, I don't know why I wasn't paralyzed. It just happened, okay?" She snapped, and sighed.

"Class, for this assignment, it will almost be like musical chairs. At every step of this experiment, you will be switching partners. Please put on your safety glasses and lab coats and follow the instructions on the board. When I ring this bell, you will switch partners." Mr. Harris instructed, and showed off a little bell that you would find at reception desks. Scott leaned on his chair so he could get closer to Riley.

"We're going to see Deaton. Tonight. You and me both need answers, and so does Derek." Scott said quietly, and Riley frowned. The bell rung around the room and Allison and Riley put on their protective gear and started the experiment.

"Okay, so, first you put sugar into the boiling water..." Allison trailed off, and picked up a spoon full of sugar and tipped in, stirring it around. She put in spoonfuls of sugar one at a time, carefully stirring them each thoroughly, careful not to burn herself from the steam.

"So, you know how you said that you hunt werewolves, what's different now?" Riley asked casually, as she watched the jar that had a string tied to a pencil sitting on the lip of the jar.

"What do you mean?" She asked, frowning as she looked at Riley. She looked back at Allison, and quickly shrugged.

"Well, there's at least three werewolves in here... Why haven't you killed them?" She asked, not trying to sound rude. She was genuinely curious as to why.

"Ladies in the back, less time talking, more time stirring." Mr. Harris scolded, and Riley sunk in her seat. Allison didn't end up answering the question. She finally finished stirring in all of the sugar, and it was time to switch partners. Riley smiled at Allison and got up, walking over to Danny's table. She sat down, and glanced over at Isaac. He was watching her, and she smiled faintly at him. He turned away.

"Hey Danny. How are you?" She asked, and Danny smiled at her.

"I'm good, you?" He responded, and Riley nodded.

"Alright, I guess." She laughed, and read the second step on the piece of paper. "Okay, so you've done the first step, now we have to pour the solution into the jar. Honestly, this is cool but seems like first grade stuff."

Danny laughed at her comment and agreed, as he watched Riley pick up the pot and slowly poured it into the jar that had the pencil and string on it. All of the water went inside, and Danny adjusted the pencil so the string didn't touch the sides. Riley looked over at Isaac again, who was talking to Stiles. Whatever they were talking about, it wasn't good.

The bell rang again, and Riley got up to go to the next table, which was occupied by a boy that she did not recognize. Isaac had moved to Lydia's table, which was right in front of her.

"Okay, I'm pretty sure that we've done it right, because look at these!" The boy, who Riley found out that his name is Finn by looking at his pencil case, had exclaimed. She smiled and took one of the crystals out of the jar, and so did he.

"Cool." She commented, but couldn't help but notice how strange Allison and Erica were acting.

"Now, if you have done the experiment correctly, what you should be looking at is perfectly made crystals. Here is the fun part; you can eat them." Mr. Harris announced, and Riley tapped her crystal with Finn and took a bite into it. It was definitely very sweet, but good.

"Lydia!" Scott suddenly shouted, and Riley looked up at her and saw something dripping from the crystal in her hand; kanima venom. She widened her eyes, as she watched Lydia frown at Scott and continue to eat it.

Nothing happened to her.
