Isaac was finally able to return to school, but he still hung out with Erica. He kept a close eye on Riley and Erica, not leaving Erica alone in case she would go for Riley. Isaac had to divert the attention away from Riley, so he decided to blame someone else; Lydia.

Riley hung out with Olivia, who hung out with Boyd. They seemed to become pretty close with each other lately. Riley had just learned that they hung out all weekend together, without any textbooks. When asked about what was going on, Olivia just shrugged it off and talked about something else.

They were sitting in class together, which was Advanced Arts, and they were busy talking about last night's episode of their favourite TV show; The Vampire Diaries. Riley couldn't help but like it; Olivia had forced her to watch it. Riley thought that she wouldn't like it, but after just one episode, she was hooked.

The only reason why they both took Advanced Arts was because they hardly had to do anything in that class. So they just talked to each other and watched The Vampire Diaries on Olivia's laptop. Riley did like drawing though, which she sometimes did in that class. Not a lot of people were in her class, since the Arts does take away from their final score in their final year. But she didn't care that much, she just wanted to do what made her happy.

The bell rang which signaled the time for break and Riley and Olivia both got up to walk to their lockers. They parted ways to go to their own lockers and Riley put her stuff away before grabbing out her lunch and a drink. She closed the door and looked over at Olivia, who was busy talking to Boyd. Riley rolled her eyes but smiled at her. She was glad that she wasn't talking to Jackson anymore; he was definitely not a good person for Olivia. To be honest, he wasn't a good person for anyone. But Boyd was a werewolf, a new one at that. He can't control himself. What if he turned and Olivia was there with him? Riley wondered how they really felt about each other.

Riley was just about to walk over to them before she remembered that he was a part of Derek's pack, and Derek wanted her dead. Jesus, nowhere is safe for her. She really hoped that Isaac was trying to convince his pack that Riley wasn't the Kanima, or else she really was in very dangerous territory. She decided that was best to just stay away from Boyd, Erica and Derek. The only person she can really trust is Isaac and Scott. Maybe she should start hanging out with him, since he hates Derek as well. Riley thought that it was the best thing. But Olivia? It was clear that she liked him, even though she denied it. She didn't want her to get hurt. If Olivia did get hurt by Boyd, she didn't know what she would do.

She watched them laugh and whisper to each other, and saw the genuine happiness on Olivia's face. Boyd looked pretty happy as well. Her eyes drifted down the hall, where she spotted Erica and Isaac talking quietly. Erica was looking at Boyd with a frown, and she almost looked... Jealous. Why was Erica jealous? If anything, Riley thought that she would be happy that Boyd was getting close to Olivia, because she was close to Riley. But maybe not, Riley didn't know anymore. She had given up on trying to figure out what was going on, since she was always going to be in danger anyway.

She had settled on driving Olivia away from Boyd and his pack, to keep her from danger. She just hoped that she wasn't in too deep. But when she looked back at where she was, she saw that she and Boyd were gone. But Erica and Isaac were still there, so it didn't look like they were about to do something to her. Plus, Isaac wouldn't let that happen. Olivia is innocent; she hasn't done anything wrong.

She kept looking at Erica, who finally spotted her. Erica's mouth slowly curled into a smile as she waved at Riley nicely, as if nothing happened. Riley frowned, but then waved back. She couldn't believe that Erica was helping Derek kill her. She thought that her and Erica were friends. Riley stood by her side when she was ridiculed and offered a shoulder to her all the time. She was always nice to Erica, so why was she being so horrible to her? Maybe it was just about the pack thing, how it was just like family. Like blood. Everything came after blood, right?
