Isaac took Riley home and tucked her into bed, promising to keep her up to date once she woke up. She couldn't believe that she was the only one who was tired; but it didn't really help that all of her friends had freakish abilities. She guessed that they didn't get as tired as one normally would. Sometimes she wished she was a werewolf, but then seconds later she would get shut down by her guardian.

Stiles was captured by an assailant of the Argents who took him to their basement. But he wasn't alone. He found Erica and Boyd both tied up with electrical currents wrapped around their hands and bodies. No wonder he hadn't heard from them in a while. Luckily he got out with a bruised and bloody face and returned home where his dad was eagerly waiting. Stiles had to make up a lie about what happened, saying that kids from the other school got pissed that they didn't win.

While Riley was sleeping, a whole different story was being played out in Scott's life. His mother had called him from Derek's place to tell him that clear goo was leaking from Jackson's body bag and when she opened it up, his body was encased with the same goo that seemed to be coming from his claws. When Isaac and Scott arrived, Jackson was twitching.

"What's happening to him?" Scott asked his mother in shock, as Isaac leaned on the table to get a better look at him.

"I thought you were going to tell me! Is it bad?" She asked, her hands on her hips as the wrinkles on the forehead deepened.

"Doesn't look good." Isaac mumbled, and they were all taken aback as the body started to twitch. They looked in silent shock, as Scott glanced at Melissa.

"Mum, could you zip it up please?" He asked, ignoring her look of shock. She branded him unbelievable as she reluctantly prepped herself to close the bag.

"Okay, okay." She mumbled, moving closer as she picked up the zipper and pulled up towards his face. Just as she reached his chin, the zipper got stuck and the tension in the room increased by 100. Scott stood on edge as he watched his mother try to pull the zip up with both hands. She quickly pulled back reflexively as Jackson grew long and sharp rows of teeth and bared them. A hissing sound erupted from him as Scott hurried his mother to continue the job.

"Mum, zip, zip, zip!" He urged, and she quickly pulled the zipper up and over his head as they watched his body move around. Scott took out his phone and dialled Derek's number, where he told him about Jackson's situation.

After a few exchanges of words, Derek concluded that they needed to take Jackson to him before something bad happened. Isaac and Scott took Jackson's body bag out of the hospital where Scott's mum stayed behind. There was no way Scott was going to let her come with him. Shit was going to go down, and there was no way he was going to let her come with and experience that.

Scott and Isaac got caught in the parking lot by Chris Argent, Allison's father. He stepped out of his car and walked over to them with a stern expression.

"You're alone." Scott stated, and Chris looked down.

"More than you know." He replied. Scott was confused as to why he was there.

"What do you want?" He asked, Jackson's bag moving on the ground. Chris took a breath and looked at the boy.

"We don't have much in common, Scott. But at the moment, we have a common enemy." Chris explained, and Scott glanced at Jackson behind him.

"That's why I'm trying to get him out of here." Scott said, as if it was the most obvious thing. Chris looked down and scoffed lightly.

"I didn't mean Jackson." He replied, and a look of anger washed over him. "Gerard has twisted his way into Allison's head, the same way he did with Kate. I'm losing her, and I know you're losing her too."

"You're right." Scott agreed, and looked into his eyes. "So can you trust me to fix this?"

Chris stared at him, a look of reluctance painted on his face. Scott sighed.

"Can you let us go?" He asked, and Chris shook his head.

"No." He deadpanned, before glancing at his car and smirking. "My car's faster."

Once they got everyone in the car, Chris sped off to the destination that Derek had texted Scott; the old building where the secret rave took place. A lot of memories were brought back when they arrived, one including Scott almost dying at the hands of Chris's wife.

They all got out of the car and Isaac watched Jackson in the back.

"I think he stopped moving." He said in an optimistic tone. They all walked around the front of the car and Chris turned to Scott.

"Where's Derek?" He asked, and suddenly Derek came running towards them on all fours. He got to them and he stared at Chris with glowing red eyes. "I'm here for Jackson, not you." Chris clarified, but Derek didn't seem convinced.

"Somehow I don't find that very comforting." Derek retorted, and the two glared at each other before Derek broke eye contact to talk to the two betas. "Get him inside."

The boys hesitantly followed his order as they brought the bag out and headed for the entrance. Once they were in, they dumped the body onto the ground next to Chris's car that he had driven inside.

"Where are they?" Scott asked Derek, as he looked confused.

"Who?"

"Peter and Lydia." He replied exasperatedly. Lydia was the key in their plan, and she wasn't even there!

Legend has it that a werewolf can be called out of his form by his Christian name, but only by someone who has a real emotional bond with them. The only person Jackson really experienced that with was with Lydia, which is why they needed her to be there so badly.

Derek unzipped Jackson's bag and looked down at him as his claws began to protrude from his nail beds.

"Hold on a second, you said you knew how to save him." Scott urged, stepping forward with caution.

"We're past that." Derek said, and Scott looked at him in shock. He was about to say something, but Derek snapped. "Think about it, Scott! Gerard controls him now. He's turned Jackson into his own personal guard dog. He set all of this in motion, so that Jackson can get even bigger and more powerful."

"No." Chris interjected, and everyone stared at him. "He wouldn't do that. If Jackson's a dog, he's turning rabid, and my father wouldn't let a rabid dog live." He explained, and Gerard emerged from the shadows behind them.
