Candice POV~
"I've never been to the beach at night." I confessed.
"I usually come here to clear my mind or simply to enjoy the peace and quiet. The waves have a unique way of calming you down. Of calming all that is bothering you inside." Emerald inputted while staring away.
She abruptly stopped walking and dropped herself onto the sand. She then patted the space next to her. Gesturing me to sit by her and watch the waves roll in and out.
I took a seat besides her.
I couldn't help but overthink the way she had been ever since she arrived home. The way she interrupted me, the way she threw my words at my face and how she didn't take the chance to kiss me when the opportunity arose.
"You said you wanted to talk?" She pointed out.
"Yes." I pulled my knees closer towards my chest and I rested my arms over them.
I could feel Emerald's gaze burning my face as I faced the beach's lashing waves. It was very soothing to be here at night. Alone. Just gazing at the water's surface and hearing the waves.
Tonight was a bit chilly though and I regretted not grabbing a sweater before leaving the penthouse.
The sky was obscured by dark clouds that partially covered the otherwise light expanse. There was the occasional lightening that appeared among the clouds and the very faint sound of rumbling thunder.
"What if it rains?" I abruptly asked Emerald.
"Then we share a kiss under the rain."
I turned around to face her– only to be greeted with her lips crashing against mine.
Beautiful.
That's what this kiss was.
A beautiful kiss shared under a beautiful cloudy night sky and in a beautiful surrounding. The cold air didn't seem as cold anymore. Because Emerald's body heat was radiating off of her and onto me.
Without breaking the kiss, she crawled closer towards me until I was laying flat on my back. Emerald was now hovering above me and I wrapped my arms around her shoulders. Pulling her closer. I kissed her back with just as much passion and just as much need.
I couldn't think properly. At least not anymore. Not while Emerald was this close to me. Not when she was kissing me like her life depended on it.
I felt her hand resting over my hip, while her free hand supported her weight above me. I slipped my hand underneath her hoodie and I felt her abdomen tightening under my touch. It was a huge turn on. The way her soft skin felt against my fingers, the way her muscles tightened under my touch. I couldn't help the satisfying feeling knowing that I was the cause of that. I caused Emerald to feel that way.
"I want you so bad, Candie." Emerald whispered in my ear.
Her breath against my neck causing shivers to run throughout my body. I tugged on her hair as she began to place kisses over my neck and chest. I wanted her just as badly.
"Say you want me to and I'll give you what you need."
"I-I want you to." I mumbled as I forced my eyes shut.
Emerald wasted no time.
I helped her out of her hoodie only to realize that she had nothing but a bra underneath. I bit my lip as I took in her appearance. Her toned stomach was something to marvel at. I don't remember giving her body a once over the first time we had sex. But now that I did– I wanted her the more.
It wasn't long before we had completely rid ourselves of our clothing. I couldn't help but think how crazy this rendezvous act was. But I was not complaining.
Emerald kissed my lips, then my jaw and then my neck. She sucked and bit into it causing me to either moan or gasp out in shock. Like when she suddenly bit into my pulse and then sucked over the bite. Her hands caressed my body making goosebumps appear all over my skin. Although the weather was cold and chilly; I was feeling hot and flustered. All thanks to Emerald.
Her mouth was at work on my body and I did nothing to muffle the moans that escaped from my lips then. Neither did I try to keep quiet when her hand caressed my thighs. I did nothing to cover my moans when her tongue swirled inside of me at the same time her fingers dug in and reached my spot. I did nothing to prevent myself from becoming undone in Emerald's mouth.
I did nothing to prevent myself from enjoying Emerald time and time again. I enjoyed absolutely everything that Emerald and I tried.
I then enjoyed laying in her arms on the sand. Staring up the sky that would occasionally light up with lightening. I enjoyed the rain that poured down on us a little after. And I most definitely enjoyed that kiss under the rain that Emerald had said we'd share.
I also loved the conversation that we shared after our night of hot sex on the beach.
I had Emerald's hoodie and my bare legs were beginning to feel cold due to the lack of clothing. Emerald had on her pants and bra. We then collected our clothing and made a quick dash for her car, because the rain intensified and there was no escaping it now.
So here we were. Inside her luxurious sports car, with the heaters on and soft music playing in the background. With bags of fast food sprawled everywhere and sipping on soda. I would have preferred coffee but then I wouldn't have been able to sleep afterwards. And I was still high from the sex Emerald and I had shared. I'm sure caffeine would do nothing to calm me down from all the adrenaline that I had and was still feeling as of the moment.
"I want to ask you this again. I know you've already rejected me a couple of times and I just wanted to say, please do it again if you don't want to. But would you like to go on a date with me?" Emerald gave me a lopsided smile.
I stopped chewing on my burger and I glanced at her. She looked so adorable with her legs crisscrossed and holding onto that burger with both her hands. I then thought about how happy she had made me the past few hours. And I instantly knew what my answer would be. I didn't need any more consideration over the matter. I was sure of what my answer would be.
"Yes Emerald. I'd love to go on a date with you."
Emerald looked at me and I could practically feel happiness radiating off of her in waves. She leaned over the center console and planted a sweet tender kiss on my cheek.
"We'll have our date."
We continued to eat our food in comfortable silence.
