Piper's POV:

I chased Micha into the music class but she locked herself in one of the practice rooms. (A/N totally did not just reference something right there XD) 

"Micha, please come out!" I was banging on the door. I could hear her quiet sobs through the door. "Ugh." I sighed. I spotted a guitar in the corner of the room. When Micha was younger singing would always calm her down. Wasn't to sure how to play the guitar but I had gotten a few lessons from one of the older kids at the orphanage. Okay, so it was a long time ago but it was worth a shot. I grabbed the guitar and sat down with my back to the door. I tried strumming a bit before I started the song.

Micha stopped crying. The sound of the lock turning echoed in the dimly lit room. I stoop up and the door opened to reveal my 10 year old partner-in-crime. Micha. She ran out and hugged me. Her eyes still had a few tears in them even though she had stopped crying. Heh, remind you of something  I thought to myself as I remembered the night when we had met Bob and Lenny. The sound of the bell ringing shook me out of my thoughts.

"Let's go. The others are probably looking for us." I told her. And I was right. We found them in the hallway searching for Micha and I.

"Hey." I said, slightly embarrassed that they saw me lose my cool.

"There you are, are you two okay?" Savannah ran up to us with Nixie coming forward from behind.

"I swear the next time I see that son of a-"

"NIXIE!" Savannah shouted. She gestured her head towards Micha.

"Relax, I was gonna say gun." Nixie defended.

"Sure you were." I snickered. "Seriously. We're fine. Now let's get to class. After all that I do NOT feel like a detention."

Maths was a drag. At least it was halfway through the day. When the teacher had his back turned. I got a note passed on to my desk. It read:

Hey, we're gonna have a Back to school party on Friday night                                                         and we want you and Micha to come. It'll be in the forest.

I showed it to Micha and she smiled. Looks like this is going to be an interesting week.
