The Mark Of the Nether (A Minecraft fanfiction)

A/N: I need your guys' help

Heya people-people,

Onci here.

Wow, it's been literally over half a year.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it has been a year, since the last update was a side story.

Where do I begin?

(Wait first let me just clarify that I'm not deleting this story, or my account, or discontinuing this or anything so don't panic [Heh, that implies I'm worth panicking over])

When I started writing this, there about just under a month under I turned 12, I only had one close friend because the other two had moved away. Now, I'm 14 and a half, learning the joy of IGCSE, have had two crushes, one of which is a girl so there's the little fact that I'm apparently Bi, and also realized that I probably have Anxiety among other things.

Damn, a lot has happened.

Which is probably why if you look at the prologue of this story, and then look at the last chapter, it'll be so much different.

Well, that and the fact that I like to think I've gotten better at writing over the years.

Let me be honest and get to the point here:

Late 2018 was kinda crap for me, tbh.

The beginning of 2019 sucked too, but then it got better, and now I'm trying to hold judgement until at least July.

I love this story, and the others I have on here, but I think this has gone on for so long and I've written so much that when it comes to Mark of the Nether I'm just kind of in a rut.

So, here's my proposal-

What if I were to rewrite this story?

I'd still leave this, original version up here, and the rewritten version wouldn't be too different, but maybe some scenes and details would change and it would be written better.

Would you guys mind if I did that?

I swear to God, I was only just thinking about this and I decided to write this and post it and it is so spontaneous but whatever.

And honestly I don't even know when I'll write it if I do this. Like, I could decided to do this and then go MIA for months again.

But, I want to get motivation to write again. I want to go back to those times where I'd get excited about writing instead of feeling this sense of dread and putting it off. But, I'm rambling again, aren't I?

So, bottom line, I guess, for all you guys who skipped to the end.

Should I rewrite this story?

Again I'll still leave the original up, and the overall story and characters will be the same with some minor adjustments.

(By minor adjustments I mean scenes and certain details will be changed, and maybe some character personalities.)

I don't think I'd get rid of any characters, but I'm not sure at the moment. (At least, the main cast like Piper and Micha + the village/castle residents would be the same).
