Suspicions

Piper's POV:

"There's no way you're gonna pull this off." Nixie stood next to me, arms crossed.

"AND DON'T WORRY, I'LL CATCH YOU IF YOU FALL!" Merl was on the first floor, ready with his levitating spell. Nixie and I were in the front room, on the second floor behind the railing. She had dared me to swing from the chandelier. And like the idiot I am, I agreed to do it. It was only us three because well, Sav said she didn't want to be 'liable' for whatever happened, while Micha and Remeer probably just wanted on day of relaxation. That could be said for everyone, actually.

"YOU READY MERL!?" I shouted at him as I got up onto the railing. He nodded and my eyes locked onto the chandelier. "3..2...1.." I took in a breath, "Here we go!" I pushed off and once I was just a few inches away from it I swung my arms forward. My skin came in contact with the gold and I grabbed it, my grip as tight as I could make it. "WHOOOHHOOOO!!" I screamed as I swayed back and forth. I let go and landed on the floor with a forward roll.

"Can't go two seconds without getting in trouble, can you?" I looked up to see Steve.

"Nixie dared me to do it!" I said without hesitation and stumbled to get to my feet. Steve didn't look mad though, he just shook his head and chuckled.

"You're just like him." He whispered.

"Just like who?" I cocked my head. By his startled reaction, I guess he thought I didn't hear him.

"Oh! Um. No one, don't worry about it Piper." He still wasn't telling me something. I opened my mouth to speak but had to close it shortly after a scared Eli and amused Echo ran into the room.

"ELIOOOOOOTTT!!!" Notch's voice bellowed throughout the castle.

"Ohh, he called you Eliot, you're in troubleee~" Echo mocked him.

"ECHHHOOOO!!" Her smirked dropped and she turned pale.

"What did you guys do this time?" I sighed.

"ELI blew up Dad's throne. I AM JUST AN INNOCENT BYSTANDER!!" Echo threw her hands up in the air.

"YOU GAVE ME A PRESENT WHILE I WAS IN THAT ROOM, I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS GONNA BLOW UP!" Eli defended himself.

"OH YEAH!? WELL, THAT WAS ONLY BECAUSE YOU DYED MY HAIR PINK LAST WEEK! YOU KNOW I HATE PINK!"

"THAT WAS TO GET BACK AT YOU FOR-"

"SHADDUP!" I screamed. They both stopped and turned to me. "First off, what throne?"

"Oh, that. Well, he is the ruler of Minecraftia, so he has a throne room. We skipped that part of the tour." Echo explained.

"Okay, second; you're the kids of freakin' NOTCH. Don't you have the power to spawn things in or something? Couldn't you just use that to hide?" I suggested.

"I have something like that but I can't entirely control it. It's completely random." Echo was cut off by the sound of heavy footsteps echoing through the hallway. "But it's worth a shot!" She held out her hand and in a flash (literally) she had spawned something in. "Cake? What am I gonna do with cake?!"

"Trade ya' for an invis pot." Merlin licked his lips, staring at the creamy treat.

"DEAL!" She threw it to him. Merlin threw the splash potion at her and stuffed his face while she disappeared.

"WAIT WHAT ABOUT ME!?" Eli complained.

"THERE YOU ARE!" Notch stomped into the room, you could practically see the steam coming out of his head. Too late. I thought. "WHERE'S ECHO?" He looked around. I swear he would've have murdered him, and Echo once he found her, but that's when Jeb came running in.
