Unexpected Guests

A/N: Small changes-

I'm changing Donnie's hair to pale brown and Quinn's to dirty blonde with blue tips. So basically apart from the blue they're just switching hair colour. Yes, there is an important reason for this but that will come later. And also, little notice;

Piper's POV:

We were still wandering aimlessly around the courtyard. There was nothing to do and even though it had been an hour since I collapsed in the secret garden, I was still kind of tired. Nix draped my arm over her, she was pretty much carrying me. Now don't get me wrong, I could walk fine. In fact, I could run one whole wall of the castle if I had to. But it was just too much fun frustrating her.

"Are you strong enough to walk yet?" She groaned.

"No." I mumbled. Putting on my best 'exhausted' voice.

"I'll be the judge of that." Micha chirped. The wolf-girl grabbed my arm and yanked it backwards. Once again, I was overtaken by my reflexes and ended up doing a backflip. I didn't mean to, things like this just sort of happen. When I landed without looking tired whatsoever, Nixie's face went from annoyed, to angry. "See, you're fine."

"She won't be when I'm done with her!" Nixie muttered.

"Uh oh. Heh. SEE YA!" I made a break for it with her close on my heels. I tried to make a swift turn around the back corner of the castle but collided into something.

"Ouch." It responded. I sat up to see Donnie on the ground, rubbing her head.

"Sorry Don, Nix was chasing me. Which reminds me, AAAAAHHHH!!!" I jumped to my feet and started running again. I hid behind one of the castle pillars and held my breath, waiting for the others to come. As if on cue I heard people running right past me, along with the voices of Nixie and Sav.

"Alright, WHERE IS SHE?!"

"Nixie, calm down!"

"Not until I find her."

"Fine, you leave me no choice."

The peaceful air was filled with the sounds of struggling and Nixie shouting. Eventually I couldn't take it anymore and I peeked out from behind the pillar. I saw Nix on the ground with Savannah sitting on top of her. I burst out laughing and made my way towards them.

"This is all your fault!" Her voice sounded raspy, probably from the lack of oxygen she was getting.

"I bet carrying me is looking pretty good right about now." I snickered. A few seconds later, Remeer came into sight, running towards us along with Micha and Donnie. He stopped once he saw what the girls were doing and looked questionably at Sav. She spoke up before he could even ask the question, however.

"This was the only solution I could come up." She smiled. "Now, are you still going to kill Piper?" She directed her attention to Nixie.

"No.." When she heard that, she immediately stood up. Nixie got to her feet, dusted herself off and glared at her. "NOW I'M GONNA KILL YOU!"

"Oh no. I didn't think about that.." Sav slowly backed away. I grabbed her hand and dragged her with me.

"RUNN!!" I screamed while Remeer held her off.

We spent the morning chasing each other. Honestly, it was the most fun I had in a long while. I hadn't done anything like this since, well like I said, since me and Micha were kids. Everyday we'd mess around with the spiders, just like this. As the morning slowly shifted into afternoon, the five of us collapsed on the grass, laughing and smiling.

"That was fun." Micha sighed and changed back. Before she had been running around as a wolf.

"Yeah." Nixie agreed.

"So what now?" Sav asked and sat up slightly.

"Back to the garden?" I suggested. Instantly after saying that, Micha shot up, ears twitching like crazy. I got up too, knowing something was wrong. Micha looked scared. "Micha, what's wrong?" I made her look me in the eye.

"Someone's climbing over the castle wall." Everyone straightened up.

"What?" I saw Remeer reaching for his Diamond sword.

"Someone is climbing over the wall to get into the castle and I don't recognize their scent." She paused and sniffed the air. "There's more then one person."

"Which wall?" I stood along with the others. 

"The front one." 

"What do we do!?" Savannah started panicking.

"WHAT D'YA THINK?! C'MON!" Nixie grabbed her arm and yanked her to her feet.

"Wha-? SAV WAIT UP!" Remeer ran after them.

"Pfft. Amateurs." I shook my head and laughed. "Let's go show them how you ACTUALLY take care of intruders." I started walking to the closet wall and Micha followed me.

"Right!" She chirped. I unsheathed my sword and rammed it into one of the cracks in the stone, making sure it was stable first.

"Here." I got down on one knee and held my hands out to her. "Climb up." She stepped on my hands and I pushed her up high enough so she could reach the sword and use it as a support to get up. The width of the wall from the top wasn't that wide so she transformed into a wolf again. Next it was my turn. I jumped and grabbed it in mid-air, then swung myself up. After pulling the sword out of the crack and sheathing it, Micha and I ran to the front of the castle, planning what to do once we got there.

"Stand back, Sis." I warned her. The others were nearly there meanwhile I was still on the wall with my bow drawn and aimed at two cloaked figures walking up to the door. I released and the arrows went flying down, just missing Remeer's head, and reaching the intruders. I made sure the arrows only pierced through the cloth of their hoods; pulling them to the front of the castle and leaving them helplessly hanging against the wall.

"ARRRGG!" Remeer screamed and jumped back.

"Umm, Remeer, could ya get off me?" Sav spoke up, making him realize that he had jumped into  her arms. He immediately stood again and a blush crept onto his face.

"U-uh y-yeah s-sorry 'bout t-that." He rubbed the back of his neck.

"You big baby." She giggled and playfully hit his arm. "Now, what I wanna know is where that arrow came from." She looked around.

"Why from our personal archer, of course!" Nix pointed to me. I took that as my cue to come in and jumped down, Micha dropping into my arms after me. I put her down and made my way to the trespassers, still dangling by there clothes from the arrow. Once I got up to one of them, I grabbed their collar and pulled them down to my height. Both of the cloaked people were much bigger than me. So they were probably adults and, judging by their shape, guys too. Apparently Nixie had copied me and was doing exactly what I was doing to the other guy. Micha stood at my feet, still as a wolf, growling at them. Finally, Sav hadn't moved from where she was before, but Remeer was standing in front of her with his arm stopping her from getting any closer.

"Shall we see who our little uninvited guests are?" Nix hummed and turned to me.

"Let's." I smirked. At the same time, we both pulled down their hoods and froze. Micha stopped growling and from the corner of my eye I saw Sav's face go pale and Remeer's hand drop. "Oh. My-"

"Notch?" Nixie finished my sentence. I slowly nodded, mouth gaping.

"Yeah, him too."
