The Mark Of the Nether (A Minecraft fanfiction)

The day everything went wrong

Piper's POV:

(Skip to Wednesday because stuff is about to GO DOWN)

It was Wednesday and I still couldn't get rid of Jack. He seemed to get worse by the hour. At the end of school on Monday he grabbed my hand and tried to get me to ditch Micha, Tuesday he insulted my friends and today, honestly, I have a bad feeling about today. The bell rang for Lunch and I ran outside to find the others. All of a sudden, I was pinned onto the tree.

"Jack let me go." I growled at him.

"Why should I?" He sneered.

"Because I'll do this-" I heard a voice say from behind. Micha popped up and bit his arm, HARD. He screamed and grabbed her by her shirt.

"YOU IDIOT. WHAT ARE YOU A DOG?" He said and shoved Micha to the ground. I was about to knock the living daylights out of him but then he kicked her in the stomach, while she was laying on the ground. This what happened next:

 All I want to say is, I lost it. But not like all those other times with Roxy, no. This time the anger had been building up inside of me but I tried to stay calm so I didn't scare anyone again. Seeing Micha on the floor, however, made me WANT to scare him. To teach him a lesson. Turns out, when I try to be scary, I could give someone nightmares. My blood was boiling and the ground began shaking. Everyone started freaking out.

"SINCE YOU HAVE CAME YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT BEEN A SCUMBAG I'M SICK OF IT. JUST FIGHT ME ALREADY!" I challenged at him.

"Me? Fight a doll face like you? Yeah right." He snickered.

"What? Afraid a girls gonna kick you butt?" I got louder as I said that so it would gather a crowd. "Here, I'll even give you the first punch." He smirked at me like I was asking him to beat me up. Jack walked towards me and held out a fist. He aimed it at my head but I grabbed his hand and twisted it. The more I twisted it the harder my grip got. I could see him try to hide the pain but it wasn't working. In a matter of seconds he dropped to his knees. I let got of his hand. "My turn." I punched him in the stomach. I expected him fall backwards but instead he flew at least 3 meters back and crashed into the brick wall that marks the end of the campus. I could tell my eyes were glowing and the ground began shaking more, yet I was standing perfectly still. The only thing I could see was my target. "YOU HAVE INSULTED MY FRIENDS, ABUSED ME AND DROVE ME INSANE JUST BECAUSE I HAD TO DEAL WITH YOU. BUT THIS IS WHERE I DRAW THE LINE. NO ONE HURTS MY SISTER." I took a step forward every few words. Now I was right front of Jack. I grabbed him by the neck and looked at him in his eyes. He was terrified. "You're lucky that you're still alive."

"PIPER!" I turned around and Sav, Nixie and Remeer. I looked around a bit more and saw everyone and I mean EVERYONE stood there staring at me. I dropped Jack and ran towards them.

Sav's POV:

The three of us were walking around school looking for Piper. 

"I hope that Jack guy isn't still bothering her." Nixie said worried. Then some kids squeezed past us and ran around the corner. Wondering what was going on, I rushed over there too. As I got closer the ground seemed to be shaking. It felt like an Earthquake. I fell a couple of times but got up immediately and kept running. As I turned the corner I saw; Micha was the ground and Piper was holding Jack by the neck. Her eyes were glowing brighter then I had ever seen them. They were almost white. Cracks were forming in the concrete ground and rocks that were scattered across the courtyard were levitating a bit above the grass. This was bad.

"PIPER!" I shouted before she could murder anyone. I saw her realize what was she was doing and she came over.

Piper's POV:

As I ran past everyone I could make out a few of their whispers.

"Possessed....Witchery....Black magic....Herobrine.."  I knew what I had to do.

"Guys let's get out of here." I said once I got to them.

"I couldn't agree with you more." Remeer nodded as picked up Micha. She was still sore from the beating. We took the shortcut through the woods, to the campsite. We had all decided that the Skeletons would know what to do.

Once we got there I found Bob chopping down a tree and a bored Lenny shooting arrows up in the air, he had a few sticking out of him too. Bob was the first one to notice us.

"Girls, what are you and your friends doing back from school so early?" He looked concerned.

"Well. The night of the party I kind of got mad, and this happened." I made my eyes light up and his eye sockets widened. Lenny, who had now came over to us, had his jaw open and dropped his bow. I continued. "I got mad again and, IT WASN'T MY FAULT! HE HURT MICHA WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO?! Everyone saw and we got out of there as fast as possible. What do we do?" Bob stayed silent for a moment before responding.

"Lenny, get Milly. Girls go pack your bags. You're leaving." He said then ran into his tent.

"Wait where are we going?" I didn't like where this was leading.

"Not we. You. You and Micha have to get out of here."

"What!" Micha and I screamed. She was feeling better so Remeer put her down.

"We can't just leave. You guys are family!" I said on the verge of tears.

"And we're not going to let you go alone." Nixie grabbed my hand.

"Yeah! After everything that's happened. We need to stick together." Savannah grabbed my other hand.

"That's what friends do!" Remeer side hugged Micha.

"But, Sav what about your Dad?" I didn't want this to be their problem to.

"Like I said. He doesn't care about me. Plus, I do like the idea of an adventure." She grinned. Seeing that my friends were going to come with me (A/N:Filled me with DETERMINATION. Sorry I had to XD) made me feel a sense of hope. 

"Alright pack your things and we'll meet back here. Avoid the villagers at all costs." Lenny warned. I ran into my tent and got all the things from there then went to the changing room-shack thing and packed my clothes. I took out my bow, quiver and sword to make more room. Then I put on my sheath that attached to my back for my sword at the one that went on the side of my waist for the bow. I equipped my quiver and after putting on my favourite clothes (Grey Sweatshirt with hoodie and sweatpants) along with my shoes, I was all set. Outside of the door I was greeted by the guys and Micha. I never did figure out how she changes so fast. I saw Milly waiting for us at the edge of the forest line. Micha and I turned to the Skeletons and I saw Lenny was crying. As much as a Skeleton could cry. I wrapped him in a bear hug and Micha did the same to Bob. 

"I'm *sniff* gonna *sniff sniff* miss you."  He said. Then we swapped.

"Promise we'll see you again Dad?" I silently cried into his rib cage.

"I promise sweetheart."

"And you better keep that promise. You're the only Dad they got. And Lenny, never stop acting like their crazy older brother. I want to make sure this family turns out better then mine did." Sav interrupted. She had tears streaming down her face and clasped her hand over her mouth.

"*sigh* Sav" Remeer hugged her while stroking her hair. After everyone calmed down, we all said our goodbyes and left. 

"Where to now?" Nix asked to no one in particular. Before Milly could open her mouth I answered for her.

"Isn't it obvious?" I stopped walking and face them.

"Anywhere but here."

A/N:I'm SO excited. We are getting close to a part of the story that I have been planning since the first chapter. I can't wait :D.
