She nodded, "Look!" She pointed at a lake that wasn't too far from where we were, "We have to go there later."

I chuckled, "Whatever you want." I kissed her forehead.

She looked up at me, "Well what are we waiting for? Let's go have fun!" She jumped up and down then pulled my arm.

I laughed at her eagerness and followed her.

Nothing could go wrong. Right?

Justin and I finally spot Shane and Emily sitting on a long log. It wasn't too packed yet, so I was happy about that.

We walked over to them and Emily squealed happily, "Hey guys!" She said loudly over the music and other people talking.

"Hey we should go to the lake. It'll be a bit more tranquil." Justin suggested and we all agreed.

It was too loud here and I wanted to see the lake. I grabbed Justin's hand and saw his lip lift upward.

Some random guys came up to us, "Sup guys, want some?" One guy lifted up a can of beer and Shane was the first to accept it.

I looked over at Justin, "You can have one. I'll drive on our way back home." I smiled slightly and he grinned happily.

The guy tossed Justin a beer and offered Emily one but she declined politely.

I didn't mind Justin drinking as long as it wasn't more than two. He opened the can and took a swig of the beer.

When we finally arrived at the lake, I gaped at the view. It was gorgeous. We all sat on a large log and stared at the lake.

"This place is awesome." Shane looked around and smashed the empty beer can with his foot.

As it got darker, more people began to arrive. The music got louder and the lake got more crowded.

Justin and Shane asked for another beer and another after that one. Soon enough, they were both swaying side to side and making stupid jokes.

"I want another beer." Justin slurred while frowning.

I glared at him, "No. I lost count of how many you drank. No more." I said stubbornly and he groaned.

Shane hiccuped, "Don't be a party pooper." He said and wrapped his arm around Emily, making her roll her eyes.

I noticed people jumping in the lake and Emily did too. Emily jumped up and pulled me, "Can we go in the lake?"
