Chapter 6

(Selena)
"Are you breaking up with me already?" He said sounding upset

"No! No, its not that. Its just that Stacey told me some news today" i chuckled and swallowed the lump in my throat

"What is it?"

"Well, she called me today and well, she told me that she liked someone" i stayed silent and stared at him, trying to give him a hint

"Alex?" Evan said clueless

I rolled my eyes. I'm being way to obvious here and he thinks its that annoying kid in class who is always asking girls out. I chuckle, as i remember that time when Stacey smacked his face because Alex touched her boob on "accident".

"No, she likes you"

He remains still and does not say a word. Why can't i be a mind reader? I wonder what he's thinking of. I shrug and wait for a reaction.

"Well?" I raise an eyebrow

"What do you want me to say? I don't like her" He simply shrugs and stands up

I certainly wasn't expecting that. I stare at him and watched as he opens his mouth to speak again.

"I didn't come here to talk about Stacey, i came here to hangout with you" He slightly smiled and i nod slowly

"Um, want something to eat?" I offer and stood up from my uncomfortable position

"Sure" I walked in the kitchen and saw him turn on the tv.

Having Justin over is much more different than having Evan over. Its much more awkward hanging out with Evan without Stacey. I need her right now.

If I tell Stacey that we're dating she's going to be so pissed off at me. She's probably going to think that I stole him away right after she told me she liked him.

I washed my hands and took out the bread, cheese, and ham. I grab the mayo and begin preparing my sandwiches.

Once I finished I walked over to him and handed him his food. He smiled and took it.

I ran upstairs and grabbed my phone. I walked into the bathroom and sat on the floor. I had a few missed calls from Justin so I decided to call him back, but away from Evan.

So the bathroom was my wisest decision.

I called back and waited for him to reply.

"Selena? You okay? Where have you been" He said sounding a bit out of breath

"I'm fine, where are you?" I asked,
He kept panting and it was getting me really nervous.

"Oh I went out for a run" he chuckled
I let out a sigh of relief and shook out my crazy thoughts.

"Selena"

"Yes?" I whisper, hoping Evan won't hear me

And as if on cue.

"Selena!?" Evan Knocked on my bathroom door

"Who's that?" Justin says

"Um I gotta go bye" I said quickly and hid my phone under the sink cabinet. I stood up and flushed the toilet.

"Coming"

I opened the door and raised my eyebrow "what are you doing here"

"Um I thought I heard you talking" he said, shoving his hands in his pockets, looking around awkwardly

"Nope" I chuckle nervously

He nods but shrugs "um, I gotta go, my mom called and told me she needed a ride somewhere"

Suddenly my ringtone began ringing and Evan furrowed his eyebrows "is that your phone?"

"I've been looking for it!!!" I pretended to sound relieved and grabbed it from inside the cabinet

I quickly hung up and smiled at Evan "so you were saying"

"I need to go. Bye Sel" he gave me a weird look and walked away, looking upset

I heard his steps all the way downstairs and sat on my bed once I heard the front door open and slam shut. I looked at my phone and thought about calling him back.

I need to ignore him from now and on because if I keep on talking to him, I will develop feelings for him if I haven't already. I turned off my phone and left it on my night stand.

After a while of watching PLL I got bored and decide to do some chores. I fixed my messed up ponytail and started off with sweeping the kitchen.

After a few hours of cleaning the living room, the bathroom, my moms room, and my room, I got extremely exhausted and I plopped down on the couch.

I really don't want to go to school tomorrow but I have too. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 7pm.

Wow, my Sunday went great.

Stacey. What will she think of me once I tell her that I'm dating her crush. I can't imagine to be in her position.

Imagining my best friend dating my crush. I would be angry and devastated. I rubbed my eyes and stood up, I need a hot shower.

I walked out of the hot bathroom and shivered once I felt the cold air nip at my skin. I quickly slipped on my slippers and looked for something comfortable to wear.

I ended up choosing white fluffy shorts and black tank top.

My stomach grumbled randomly. Wow, I realized I haven't eaten since this morning. I put the towels in my bathroom and walked downstairs and into the kitchen.

What should I eat. I looked in the cabinets and took out my favorite cereal.

Fruity pebbles.

After grabbing everything I needed I sat down on my couch and turned on the tv. It hasn't even been a day and I'm already missing Justin.

I took a big bite out of my cereal and watched victorious, I love this show because I find beck extremely hot. I chuckled to myself and tried to stop thinking of Stacey, Evan, and most of all, Justin.
