May Daniels.

No it wasn't what you think. We didn't have sex. We didn't even get entirely naked.

Oh I wanted him alright. What we just did was like a trailer to an awesome movie. But he didn't ask for more, nor did I. I gave in to the kiss didn't I? I literally asked him to kiss me. Now it was his turn.

I'll wait for him to make the first move. Yeah, I could do that...right?

We probably wouldn't be out of bed it wasn't for Maddie. The poor girl got so lonely that she decided to join us in bed. Remember when I told you she was heavy? So imagine this.

I was lying of Alex's chest, comfortably. We were just talking...nothing dirty, mind you. Then Maddie decides to join us. She came straight onto the bed and flopped on top of me and Alex.

That was enough encouragement for us scoot out of bed make the day useful.

"You have anything planned for today?" He asked as we sat, enjoying lunch.

He was really a good at cooking. He had made a garden salad, spicy Pomfrey with herbs and homemade raspberry ice cream for dessert.

"Yeah, I need to buy a couple of art materials and some groceries."

"Do you mind if I come with you?"

I glanced at him shyly. "No. I'd like you to come."

Alex smiled in delight. "Okay."

Maddie had to stay back at the house and she seemed happy with the housekeeper, her usual babysitter when Alex wasn't around.

It didn't take us long at the art store. I knew what exactly I needed. Non-toxic paint, ice cream sticks and cardboards. We were making photo frames this week for art.

The hypermarket however was a different story. I had already organized a short grocery list like I usually do but Alex evidently, had other plans. The variety of things available there amazed Alex. He wanted to buy everything.

"Honestly Alex!" I exclaimed after I failed again to convince him that the huge saucepan set was absolutely unnecessary. It was a nine piece set!
"You're acting like you've never been in a hypermarket before!"

"You got the nail right on the head, May. I have never done anything like this before."

I stopped in my tracks. "Never?"

"I have helpers to get all the groceries. Personal shopper to get my clothes. My house keeper takes care of the rest."

"Have you been in a shopping mall?"

"Yes, once... Or maybe twice."

I was speechless.

"But I like doing this with you. Its amazing. So much of fun." He smiled shyly.

I found myself leaning up to place a chaste kiss on his lips. "I like it too. But I would like it even better if you could abstain from being extravagant. I really do not need that saucepan set and nor do you!"

Alex laughed as he slipped his arms around me. "All right."

"Also put back that steam iron, portable stove and that ugly storage container." We spent the next few minutes returning the unnecessary items. By then, my cart was half empty.

There was a whopping large grin on his lips as he made his way back towards me. His easy grace and devilishly handsome face stood out.

Alex looked out of place in here even though he was wearing jeans and simple black shirt. He looked like he stepped right out of a magazine shoot.

I didn't realize that I had been staring at him until he clicked his fingers in front for my face. "May? Yoo hoo!"

"What?"

"You were staring."

"So?" I tried to feign nonchalance even though my heart had began to race. He was standing very close to me.

"I think I know what you were thinking."

I chuckled at him. "What did you think I was thinking?"

His eyes gleamed mischievously as he swept his gaze up and down my body. "I was thinking that you were thinking about what we did earlier in bed."

His words set my face aflame. I found it hard to look him in the eye. Who knew grocery shopping could be fun and...romantic?

Alex lifted my chin with his fingers. "Hey, don't be embarrassed with me. I loved seeing that side of you. So uninhibited, so passionate. It makes me imagine all sort of things."

No May! Don't! Don't ask!

I am so going to regret this. "What kind of things?" I whispered, knowing fully that he will take advantage of my current position. Shy...and so not me...

He bend down to place a soft kiss under my earlobe as his hands swept me in his embrace. I closed my eyes, enjoying his touch. Then he began to murmur soft words...sinful and dirty things that he wanted to do to me.

My heart was hammering. His words made my blood sing. Never have I been so aroused in my life. I was limp in arms, his to take and we both knew it.

"May? Is that you?"

My eyes snapped open. That voice was horribly familiar. And I resented it deeply. The hatred that filled me was alarming. Alex felt the change and he tightened his hold on me. I was glad in a way. Assaulting people probably wouldn't do me any good.

"May?" Again?! Does he have a death wish?

I glanced up and was taken aback at Alex's ferocious expression. His stance radiated animosity as he glared at him. Alex knew him?! I steeled myself and turned around.

"What are you doing here?" I all but snarled at him.

"Came here for a conference. What are you doing here? And who is this?" The lowlife's eyes were hungry for information as he regarded Alex curiously. It wasn't difficult to see the smirk as he saw the way Alex held me.

It wouldn't take the son of a bitch long to spread rumours. Then I remembered that I don't give a damn at all.

So I smiled. "It's really none of your business. You can go screw yourself." With that I turned around with Alex and continued grocery shopping.

I felt Alex's hand slip into mine as he looked at me proudly. The satisfaction I felt was overwhelming. It made me happy...Alex made me happy.
