May Daniels.

"Did I wear you out?"

I met his gaze shyly. "Yes." My voice was soft and gentle. And it was so unlike me. What is he doing to me? It was hard to mask my smile. He was changing me and I was smiling about it. That's it. I have officially lost my mind.

No, I shouldn't blame him, should I? It was my decision to date him. I let him in my life. I did so many things with him. Things that I couldn't possibly imagine. I had even begged him to let me come.

Hmmm... Yeah... So I did.

Sweet baby Jesus! Belatedly I realized what I had done. I begged him!

Oh lord! What have I done to me?! Alex will never forget that! And I'm sure as hell he would do it again.

Panic clouded his bright blue eyes as he watched the turmoil on my face. "What's wrong? Is your ankle hurting?"

"No...no. It's fine." I snuggled futher into the warm cocoon of his arms trying to hide my face which was probably red with embarrassment. He tighted his hold to comfort me. How sweet was that!

Slowly, I found myself relaxing...and forgiving myself for begging him. It will not happen again!

We were quite well rested, after our wild...erm...rendezvous. Alex was insatiable. And shockingly so was I.

Alex was tracing small circles on my back while his other hand was resting shamelessly on my behind. "We have to get ready. Ritzer is coming to see you soon."

I groaned not wanting to get up. "Who's Ritzer?"

"The doctor."

"Why? He already saw me last night."

Alex shifted to kiss the pout on my lips. "That wasn't Ritzer. He was away so I got his assistant in last night."

"If he is supposed to be away, why is he coming down?"

"Because I told him to come. He knows better than to disobey my orders. I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to get shot... again."

"Again?" I sat up. "You go around shooting your people too?"

"Hey!" Alex held up his hands in surrender. "I only shot his hand. And at the time I was a heartless son of a bitch."

My eyebrows rose up to my hairline. "At the time? So now, you have a heart?"

"I realized it's existence when I met you."

My eyes widened larger than they normally would. Precious air left my lungs as my brain scrambled for something to say. Possibly something witty. He couldn't possibly mean that?! Or could he?

"What?" My voice sounded breathless.

Oh yeah...how witty was that? Mud head!

He shook his head with an impish grin. "Nevermind." Then he gave me gentle smack on my behind. "Get off me before I decide to take you again."

A while later we were in the kitchen preparing breakfast. Well he was preparing breakfast while I watched him. Alex had carried me down and deposited me gently on the counter near him.

I realized his ulterior motive when he kept kissing me whenever he passed the counter I was sitting on. And guess what, he had to pass me pretty frequently. So kissing me took longer than preparing the food.

"Alex?" I murmured. He was sucking on my bottom lip.

He nipped me gently. "What?"

"If you kiss me again before breakfast, I will make sure you sleep alone tonight."
