Running Into Hamilton

There For You- part 15

Our food comes and she devours her salad right away. After a few minutes i push my plat towards her a little. At first she looks at it, then denies it. "Really. I can't eat all of it, it's huge." I wasn't lying. It was a huge meal. She smiles and picks up her fork. We share the meal, and I'm happy. I just want her to be happy and healthy.

*maddie pov*

I ate a bit less than half of Anthony's meal, and that was nearly an entire meal in itself. It was really good. Anthony, and the whole cast for that matter, love me so much. I could tell the cast knew I didn't want to eat. After we ate, we drove to the theater for the 8 o'clock show. I went to my room and started homework. I did my science, math, English, PEN, and French. The only thing that was hard was science, because we have to research and make a study to study the school with.

When the show ends, Lin comes and sits on my bed. "You know We love you, right? We think you're perfect, and you are. You're so amazing, you'll never comprehend it." He says, patting me in the shoulder. He just sat with me for a while, hugging me. I fell asleep on his chest.

*Lin pov*

We love her so much, and i wished she knew that. I talked to her a little, but i could tell she didn't really want to talk. I just hugged her and stayed there for a while. She fell asleep on me, so i layed her into her bed. I turned off the light and left. I heard Anthony run up the steps and saw him look in at her room.

*Anthony pov*

I love her so much, I really just want her to be happy. I look at her, but she's asleep. I know it's super cheesy and stuff, but I was tempted to sing dear theodosia. Ok i wasn't tempted, I did sing it. I thought she was asleep, until she started singing Lins part, taking me by surprise. I went over and gave her a little hug and kiss just as Jazz came upstairs. She did the same as me, giving a hug and kiss and we were on our way home.

*Maddie pov*

I woke up at 6 and got myself ready for school. Pip drives me today, and i bring her a coffee. We drive to the school and i start my day. I put my stuff in my lock and start on my way to homeroom to hang with Riley. I'm stopped by a tall guy right in front of me. "Oh, sorry!" I say and try to maneuver my way around him.

"Nope. You're not going anywhere." He says in a demeaning tone before kneeing me in the stomach. I double over in pain and he slaps my face. Just as this happens I see Riley out of the corner of my eye. I look to him and he looks nervous and flustered, like he s looking for someone. "Maddie? You never take this long at your locker. Where ar- Maddie!" He yells, running to my hunched figure. He puts his hands on my back and shoulder and looks at the ninth grader in front of us.

"Go. Go away, and never hurt her again. Seriously." He says in a stern voice. He walks me to the nurse, only a few steps away, then picks up my books from the hall and brings them to me. "Here. Tell me what happened at rehearsal, ok? Bye!" He says, waving and running off to class. The nurse looks me over, gives me an ice pack, and calls the office, both about the boy that hurt me and to say that i wasn't absent. I sit there for a while, then go to chorus.

The day is oddly long, but i find myself at rehearsal sooner or later. I tell Riley, Julia and cara about what happened, and they all agree that the four of us are going to report him. We go through rehearsal like any other day. I go to get picked up by Anthony, and tell him what happened.

*Riley pov*

I text Mr. Ramos about what happened to Maddie and he tells me she told him. I nervously ask if I can have like, a casual date night at their apartment, and he says totally. We organize the whole night in about 15 minutes. I walk over there at 5:30, and Anthony opens the door.

*Maddie pov*

Anthony comes in and tells me to change into really comfy clothes, and I do not disagree. About 30 minutes later, I finished nearly all my homework, and i hear a knock on the door. Riley walks in, carrying one bucket of candy and one bucket of movies, books, crosswords, puzzles and such. He has a blanket slung over his shoulder. I run up and hug him, taking the bucket of activities from him.

We spread out the blanket on the couch and sat down. "What are we doing first?" He asked, motioning to the basket of activities. "How about we put... little shop of horrors in and we can do stuff while we watch, or we can just watch." I offered, and he popped it in the DVD player. This was one of my favorite musicals, and we sang along to the entire thing.

When suddenly Seymour came on, we both simultaneously jumped up and acted it out. It was so fun, and when it was done, we just sat back on the couch. I saw Anthony and Jazzy out of the corner of my eye, spying on us and smiling. I rest my head on Riley shoulder and we just stay there until the movie ends.

We flip through tv shows and movies and use the puzzles and other stuff that he brought until about 10, and then we cleaned it back up and sat on the couch. The little mermaid was in, and we sat and watched it. I fell asleep on his shoulder.

*Riley pov*

It was a fun night, and i could tell Maddie enjoyed it. We were watching the little mermaid when she fell asleep on my shoulder. Anthony came out and I lightly gestured to Maddie, sure not to wake her up. He just whispered "stay. Its ok, I trust you." And walked to his bedroom. With that I turned the tv off and read until i fell asleep.
