Running Into Hamilton

Black Friday -part 56

I fall asleep on Riley once we turn the television on. We stay there all night, and I'm happy.

*Riley pov*

I look over to see Maddie asleep in my arms, smiling. I fall asleep not long after that, still in my nice clothes. I grip her tighter before I sleep, as it's still cold. We have two blankets piled over us, and Anthony and Jasmine are on the opposite side of the couch, with multiple blankets over them as well.

I wake up before maddie for the first time ever. I slowly stand up, pulling my arm from under her. I put on the tea kettle, boiling the water. I switch on the coffee pot as well. I throw a lot of toast into the toaster oven, while the two are heating up, I grab avocadoes and tomatoes. I dice the tomatoes and mash up the avocados, then spread the green paste on the toast. I put the diced tomatoes on top of that, then a little salt. I make hot chocolate with Ghirardelli mix, make tea for Jasmine, and pour a cup of coffee for Anthony.

The three have all already woken up, smelling breakfast. I get them to come into the kitchen, and they all sit down. "Thanks, ry! This looks so good." Maddie says, hugging me and sipping her hot chocolate. "It really does. You didn't have to cook, Riley. Not that im complaining." Anthony says. "Thanks! How long were you up cooking this?" Jasmine finishes. "It took like, 10 minutes. It's literally just fancy toast." I say, laughing.

We all sit down and eat the toast, occasionally taking a drink or talking. Once we've all woken up and gotten changed, we head out to the mall. I brought $60, knowing I would buy a lot of my Christmas presents. We hop out of the car amd into the rush of people, prepared to face it.

Together, we head to a few stores, getting gifts for other family members. Then we split, Maddie and i  going to a few stores to get things for Anthony and Jasmine. Then, we all meet again, Maddie going with Jasmine, Anthony and I going off to shop. We get gifts Maddie and he gets some for Jasmine. We meet back up towards the end of the day, tons of bags in hand.

We stuff the gifts into the trunk and drive back to the apartment. I pull mine and Maddies bags out of the trunk and bring them up. I drop them in separate piles on the floor of maddies room, then come back into the living room.

*Maddie pov*

I wake up to an amazing scent from the kitchen. I get up and see that Riley had made breakfast and drinks. We eat and get ready to go to the mall. We shop together for a while, then split up. We continue splitting into different groups for a while until most of us had bought most of our Christmas presents. We head home and Riley takes my bags for me.

He drops them in my room and we hang out in the living room as we do every night. We play a few games that I had bought today, since I love games. We continue playing all night until we all get tired. We head off to bed and leave the game out, knowing we could finish tomorrow before the show.

An little kinda fluffy filler chapter. I hope you guys are liking this cause i feel like it really isn't great and that my updates aren't that good, with actual decent chapters few and far between. Love you all, bye!
