I grabbed my purse, phone and apartment keys before meeting Josh at the door. We walk, arm-in-arm to the Schoenfeld Theatre, not too bad of a walk in the mild weather. Opening night of the Bonnie and Clyde Broadway Revival was just last week, and the whole cast is still living out the high. I give Josh a peck on the cheek before he heads to his freeing room, and I to mine. First, I go to the girl who plays Blanches dressing room, Tanya, and chat with her for a while. She just got engaged to her boyfriend of 8 years, Zach, so we chat about her wedding plans.

Most of our fans don't know (for sure, that is  there are many theories) that Josh and I are a couple. Some have speculated, seeing our chemistry on stage. I put on my costume, then my makeup while Julia, my good friend who does wigs, puts my bouncy, red hair on me. I get ready in the wings to go out, giving our young Bonnie, Jezebel, a wide grin. She's amazing for her age, she's only 11.

The show went amazingly, the only slip up was that during Bonnie, one of the prop guns fell. We pulled it off effortlessly, though, Josh saying "Good thing we didn't get shot!" And us laughing it off. We all stand up for the curtain call, and as Josh and I go last, we bow and step back to the center of the line, as always. But this time, Josh doesn't. He motions me to come up with him. I blush and step up, looking at him, until he begins to speak. "Maddie, we've dated for 6 years now, and those were honestly the best 6 years of my life. We've shared so many good times, and so many bad ones along side each other, but we always come together in the end. That's why, honey, I would be honored, if you'd let me call you my wife." He says, slightly tearing up. In the distance I believe I see Anthony and Jazz in the crowd, though the stage lights block out almost everything. "Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!" I say, hugging him. He slips the beautiful ring onto my finger and we step back into line. Tanya squeezes my hand and whispers "I guess we're twins now" laughing. We all bow and I take Josh into my arms as soon as we get off stage. We both post photos of us to quell our fans questions, and comments flood in. "Yass my king and queen are finally official" too cuteeee" "MY LITERAL OTP YES" I laugh at some of them while sitting on the couch in my dressing room in street clothes and no makeup.

Suddenly, I feel a pair of strong and familiar arms around me as I lean into Josh. "Hey baby, what are you doin'" he says, his head resting on my shoulder. "Looking at how adorable our fans are. Look!" I say, tilting the phone to him. "I know, I've been looking through them. Ready to head home?" He says and I nod in response, picking up my keys.
