Running Into Hamilton

One shot/ update??-part 61

I walk out and eat dinner, then play boardgames with my family.

I fall asleep on the couch, it's saturday, so I'm bored. I pull my phone off of the table next to me.

Maddie: movie marathon??
Riley: is that even a question? When?
Maddie: idk, still have to ask a&j
Riley: go do that, text me later
Maddie: ok

I roll off of the couch, stand up, an slowly trudge my way from the living room to my parents room. "Can we have a movie marathon today? And can Riley come?" I say, leaning on the door frame. Anthony is barely even awake, still laying down. Jazz, on the other hand, is totally awake. "Sure. Like, an hour? Ant needs to wake up." She says, gesturing over to her fiance, who nods. I walk out and text riley, then change.

He arrives an hour later, and we watch about 4 movies and a few TV shows.

(OK I wanted to do like a little one shot or something and this chapter was really short so now this is a one shot. It's about halloween, before they broke up and stuff.)

*maddie pov*

I drop my bag and go to my room. I quickly shower and dry my hair, making sure it's big, cute and curly. I slide in a pair of leggings with lace sides, then pull my plum colored dress over it. I put my black combat boots on, then walk to my vanity. My phone lights up, catching my eye.

Riley:  I'll be there in like 15
Maddie: k, just come in, a&j know it's you. If I'm not in the kitchen, come into my room.
Riley: ok, 😚
Maddie 😚

I throw my phone on my bed, then look at the small accessories on the vanity. There is a hand piece that is shaped like a skeleton hand, a large bat neclace, and a small choker necklace with fangs on it. I put each one on gently, as they're all home made. I do my makeup, making my skin pale and dead looking, and my eyes and lips dark. Riley opens my door as I'm finishing the lipstick, looking stunned.

"You look gorgeous. We're a perfect vampire couple." He says, as I see his also pale skin and dark clothes. Once I've totally finished, I walk into the living room with Riley, greeted by my parents, dressed as Ricky and Lucy from I Love Lucy. We hang out for about an hour, watching Beetlejuice. We all get into Anthony's car, and we head to the theater. We all hop out of the car and join the rest of the cast and their families on the stage. We greet everyone, and I play with sebastien. Riley is still getting pelted with questions from the cast, even though we've been together a while.

Finally, the awards ceremony comes. There is best costume, best couple, best accessories, best hand made costume, and most creative. Ant and Jazz win best couple, Pippa wins best hand made costume, she made an entire Dorothy outfit from Wizard Of Oz, I win best accessories, and Nic wins most creative, as a 'cute zombie' which actually looks really cool and has impeccable makeup.
