I quickly fall asleep, my head tilted against his, him softly humming showtunes to calm me down and make me smile.

I slowly open my eyes and look up. Riley is still asleep, and I'm still leaning on him. We're in the same position we were in last night. I quietly roll out of the bed and onto the floor. After a few seconds of contemplating weather I want to get up, I push myself off of the soft, dark carpet. I slowly walk over to my dresser and open one of the sleek, white drawers. I pull out a warm, soft sweater, as well as a pair of dark jeans. I walk into the bathroom and put on the clothes. Before I pull down the cream colored sweater, I stare at my stomach in the mirror. I hate it. I wish I could just completely get rid of it. Stop eating and make it shrink. I drop the soft cream fabric and walk into my room.

I sit on the smooth seat in front of my vanity and pull out my makeup. I line up the brushes, then the makeup I use in order of how I use it. Foundation, concealer, powder, blush, bronzer, highlighter, eyeshadow, lipstick, eyeliner. I scan over the lineup to assure that it's in order. I begin to apply it, then see Riley sit up. "What are you doing, it's like 8am why do you feel the need to look ready this early?" He says, although since he was so tired, it came out as one word. "Cause I need it." I say quietly, and he sits up more. "Babe." He says sweetly, then stands up. He slowly walks over to my chair and wraps his arms over my shoulders.

I keep putting my makeup on around him, even though he moves his hands over my face, trying to block my brushes. Once I finally finish, I spin around in the chair, then strongly point to the bed. "Sit there." I say, then quickly jump up. I grab the bulky black case from the corner of my room, then pull the zipper all the way down. I take out the dark wooden ukulele and make sure it's in tune. I look to Riley, who is smiling widely. "Wise men say 'only fools rush in', but I can't help falling in love with you." I begin, gently strumming the white strings. He smiles even wider, then brushes his undone dark blonde hair out of his eyes.

"Shall I stay, would it be a sin? Cause I can't help falling in love with you. Like a river flows surely to the sea, darling so it goes: some things were meant to be." I sing, then finish the song. The second I put the small instrument down, Riley jumps up.  He wraps me quickly in a tight hug, and we stay there for a while. After a few moments, we're still standing there. "I can't help falling in love with you either." He says quietly, then breaks away. We hang out for a while, playing with my ukulele for a while, until we have to go eat breakfast.
