She soon falls asleep, but just before her eyes close completely, I gently kiss her forehead and let her heavy eyes shut.

I'm in someone's arms, where am I? He grips my arms tightly, shoving me off of him. "Why are you here. I hate you." He says, then scoots to the end of the bed. He punches my stomach, then walks out of the room. I lay there, subconsciously gripping my stomach, crying. I don't want to me here. I whimper slightly, knowing that if I'm too loud, he'll come back. I'm jolted slightly, I feel a strong grip on my shoulder. It's not as harsh as the hands before, they're much more loving and gentle. My eyes pop open, and I realize it was a dream. "Hey, you're ok, you're alright, it's fine." I hear a voice, and immediately realize that it's Riley.

"Oh, good morning. Wait is it morning?" I ask, not quite sure of the time. "Well, technically yes, its- 3:13." He says, pausing to check the time. "Oh, I'm sorry. Go back to sleep, I'll be right back." I say, getting up from the comfortable position in his arms. Just before I can, he gently pulls me in. "Don't be sorry, you're fine. I'm staying up with you, what do you need." He says in a soft voice. "I'm just going to get water. I'll be fine, go to sleep." I say, clutching my arms around my stomach. It's huge, I hate it. "You're beautiful, monkey, I love you." He says, gently taking my arms off of my stomach.

I quickly stand up and go to the kitchen. I grab a small glass and fill it with water, then sit at the counter. After each few sips, I pinch down the side of my arms. It's numb, I do it so much that I don't feel it anymore. Once I finish the glass, I quietly put it in the sink, then head back to my room. I slowly climb onto the right side of the bed, the put my back against the headboard. I pull my knees up to my chest and sit like that for a while. "Monkey, it's ok, I've got you now, you're safe." Riley says, gently stroking my hair while hugging me. I quickly fall asleep, my head tilted against his, him softly humming showtunes to calm me down and make me smile.
